In reply to: Elementor is not responding
Dear Ben,
Thank you soooo much! I understand now that side builders were conflicting. I really appreciate that you made another page for me. Thank you!!!I wonder if you could possibly help me with the last thing: on this page i would like the button ‘CALL TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT’ to be the same as the standard button large size ‘BOOK A FREE CONSULTATION’.
The button ‘CALL TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT’ is linked to my phone number [btn link=”[btn text=”CALL TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT” link=”tel:0-208-883-4550″ tcolor=”#ffffff” thovercolor=”#ffffff” icon=”icon-phone”]
What should I change in the shortcode to make it the same size and colour?
Thank you in advance
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Page Builder not working
March 26, 2019 at 1:09 am #220986Hello for some reason the page builder feature is not working on my pinnacle theme anymore. It reads like this now:
[siteorigin_widget class=”kad_infobox_widget”][/siteorigin_widget]
How do I fix this?

March 25, 2019 at 11:21 pm #220977Hey so on that page you have run two pagebuilders. You created the content with Siteorigin, then you also created the content with elementor.
It’s really not ideal to run two pagebuilders at the same time. And more conflicting if you run them both on the same page.
If you want to switch a page from pagebuilder to elementor you need to create a new page, built it all in elementor and when you are ready to publish that page and remove the previous.
So I did this for you, I created a new page here where all your elementor stuff is, now you just need to link to it in your menus:

March 25, 2019 at 10:57 pm #220972When I look at your home page you don’t seem to be using page builder. Is this intentional? Are you wanting to keep working just with html? Have you considered using the new block editor and Kadence Blocks. There is already built in control for tablet and mobile column selection.

In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Remove Schema / WooCommerce Errors
March 25, 2019 at 10:19 pm #220962Hey,
If you are not adding an analysts plugin to send e-commerce information then no e-commerce information will be sent. So your error is not an error. It’s just google telling you that there is no e-commerce data being set. If you want to get that kind of data you have to use a plugin that sends it.For example: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enhanced-e-commerce-for-woocommerce-store/
Whenever there is an error the very first thing to deactivate is your caching and minify plugins because they purposely edit and override the output of a page. Those plugins are great but are the most pron to create a conflict because many of there settings require testing because of how much they can natively break… I have found Autoptimise to be the worst at this. It’s powerful but also has many settings that are not smart enough to not break other plugins. If you are on a simple site it’s good but I find on more complex sites you have to turn off a lot of the settings else it will break things.
Either way, the point is you should have it off while there is an issue and only add when your site is running as it should be to speed up some of the script loadings.
Your error 504. is a server error, timeout error. You need to access the error logs and find out what is being written there. It’s possible your payment gateway is hitting a timeout because of your php settings or some endless loop that is being created by some permissions on your site.

Depends on what plugin you’re using, but it should be similar to the process outlined here:
https://kb.kadencethemes.com/knowledge-base/fix-page-not-updating/Just to be clear, is your content within elementor saving in the admin but not showing on the front end?

Hi,
I am struggling with the unusual thing. After editing with elementor the page is not uploading and shows the old context. I mean that after I click the ‘update’ button in the bottom, the url page does not change. The page was previously edited with the classic editor. Is there anything that I should check?
Thank you in advance! In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHello,
It seems as though you have to scroll to the bottom of the page for the products to load properly and have the filter function.
Are you up to date on all of the plugins and wordpress on your site? I see that you’re on 2.3.5 of the theme. Current version is 2.3.9. Try updating and see if that helps the issue at all.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
Could you please help to understand how to rotate testimonials across the front page. I was looking for a shortcode to add but was not able to find it as in virtue premium its build up not as a plugin.
Can I also change colour and size of testimonial’s text?
Thank you in advance! In forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Site speed
March 25, 2019 at 1:58 pm #220922Check out this post: https://www.kadencewp.com/need-for-speed/
You need caching, and you can test with “Eliminate render-blocking resources” but i don’t usually suggest it. For most sites that use a javascript piece in the top of there home page (you have a video) preventing render blocking can make your site appear to load slower not faster.
Deferring css could account for 100ms in the most optimal situation. Yours isn’t so it’s really not worth trying when you consider real site speed. But if you want to experiment with that as well there are plugins. I don’t suggest you do.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Adding a font with custom icons
Thanks Ben,
The child theme seems to be a good way of getting the fonts into the web site. I still do not have everything correct?
I downloaded the virtue_premium_child zip files. I modified the style.css in the virtue_premium_child to include my-icons. I added a fonts folder to the virtue_premium_child folder and placed my-iccons.svg .eot .ttf and .woff files. I then created my version of the virtue_premium_child.zip. went into appearance->themes and uploaded my child theme, activated it. I added a shortcut to my page
[icon my-icons=noun_correlation size=40px style=circle color=#fff background=#444]
The home icon appears in the place of my noun_correlation
here is the style.css contents./*

March 25, 2019 at 12:49 am #220868Hey
Yes you can change portfolio to whatever you want.Yes, this will directly effect the SEO. Google will see that as a new page. And the old page as removed. To keep the currently SEO you can use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/safe-redirect-manager/
Add a redirect for each page you are moving using 301 so that google knows this is the page just moved.

March 25, 2019 at 12:37 am #220865Hey,
You can add this custom css:.kt-content-carousel.kt-slickslider .slick-prev { left: -30px; } .carousel_outerrim { margin: 0 -40px; padding: 0 40px; } .kt-content-carousel.kt-slickslider .slick-next { right: -30px; } @media (max-width: 992px){ .carousel_outerrim { margin: 0 0px; } }to style the arrows more closely with the others on your page you can add css like this:
.kt-slickslider .slick-next, .kt-slickslider .slick-prev { opacity: 1 !important; height: 35px; line-height: 0; border: 2px solid #E37125; border-radius: 50%; background: transparent; } .kt-slickslider .slick-next:before, .kt-slickslider .slick-prev:before, .kt-slickslider-thumbs .slick-next:before, .kt-slickslider-thumbs .slick-prev:before { line-height: 32px; color: #E37125; }Ben
