I am using your shortcode button on a web page. The button is coded with a link to a page within my website. It seems like it should work, but the button is not finding my published website page. The page with the button code is not published yet. Am I missing something?

I’m seeing the link to page 3 work now. I suggest clearing your cache to see if that makes a difference.

Can you tell me what the user name is for the access you sent so I can login. I will take a look and see what I can figure out. I still don’t see any updated image, even on desktop which still makes me think the page is showing a cached version.

ok, it looks like you’ve set the product information tab (which loads elementor) in the second tab spot. So when the page loads it loads hidden, elementor really doesn’t like to load hidden, it can’t run the normal javascript functions that it normally would and thus appears incorrect.

So I added a little hack with css, this css forces the product information section to load visibly only while you are in the elementor editor. So that why when you are editing a product it loads correctly, it means that the tab section will always show while you are editing but this will likly be better then what you were seeing.

I figured it out. Let me share.

I want to use Page Content as a module on homepage. My homepage is set as Static in Settings. That’s what I want. 😉
So….in order to have a Page Content module on the Homepage here are my options.

Option 1
Theme Options > Home Layout > Enable Page Content > Go to Homepage Widget > Use Custom HTML widget as a module. It shows up just under Slider.

Option 2
Theme Options > Home Layout > Enable Page Content > Go to Homepage > Create a block with content that will show up under the Slider.

I am using Option 2, because I already have a Homepage widget that is sorting posts with a shortcode to show on that Homepage.
I hope that makes sense. 😉 I am so thrilled that I figured it out with your help of course. I’m getting the hang of this now. It’s a good day. 😉

The page that’s assigned as your front page in “Settings > Reading” is where the content will come from.

Theme Options > Getting Started
then I see those two messages with links

take me to
“Kadence Plugin Activation” page. then i copy my license key from Kadence dashboad then paste, then still not working

So my next question is….where do I designate the specific page to be placed in that module.

Theme Options > Home Layout > Enable Page Content > *Where do I go from here?* I’m trying to create a Page Content module on homepage.

The page content is whatever you’ve added to the page through the “edit page” screen. So it can be page builder content, a portion of text, or whatever you want.

You can order it to show between the other modules in Theme Options> Home Layout in any location on the page. It is independent of the other modules, so it essentially just acts as another section of your home page.

Does that make sense? Hopefully I’m explaining clearly.

Let me clarify. In Theme Options> Home Layout. When I enable Page Content that applies to the entire page selected in the “Reading” option in Settings…. not just a portion of it. Correct?

So I am not able to create a portion of text in the section of my Homepage where I enabled the Page Content. Correct? Page Content refers to the entire page, not a section.

Hey,
You can’t use a page template on the homepage as the homepage template will override it. I would suggest creating a single slide kadence slider for your homepage. Then you can enable it from theme options > home slider.

On this site, the client has a wide logo and a secondary menu.

They have asked for a carousel of images across the top, above the wide logo. Initially just for the home page, but with the likelihood that this requirement will be extended to all pages in due course.

Previously you have guided me to a similar solution but on that one the display order was different. But I’ve been unable to modify that solution successfully to resolve this new requirement.

Please could you help?

I deleted all the redirect that solved part of the problems.

I had several of the errors with page/3/?orderby=date and several other I guess you would call them filters.

When I pasted that info in it went to page 3.

The but is when I still hit the page 3 button it still goes to page 1
Possibly there is another redirect that I did not find

I checked and I did not find any more redirect for page 3 so I am lost at this point to how to get there.

Thanks for a quick reply. I did go into settings/permalinks and hit save. Still have the same problems.
I know what is going on but not how to fix it. A year or so ago I change how many products were on a page. I increased it so at that time I had only 2 pages of product when it shown of as a crawl error I redirected all the page 3 errors to go to page 1.

I just looked in my redirect links in My Yoast and I have like 5 different page 3 crawl errors all redirected to page 1.

I tried to undo that redirect by putting it back to the original url and it will not let me.

I am not sure how to get rid of that redirect. So if you have any suggestions on thatm

these are a couple of the errors that I did the redirect from page 3 to page 1 I am not sure if I can just delete the redirect

Hello,

Page content can be edited by clicking the “edit page” button visible in your admin topbar when viewing your home page. You could also edit through your page list in your admin.
