Hi Hanna,
thanks very much, I have the Yoast plugin and found it quickly. However, I have another question. What is the best solution for paginated pages in product categories?“Paginated pages are vulnerable to duplication filtering by the search engines. Coding paginated pages correctly will let the search engines know that they are pagination pages and will not be flagged as duplication.”
I can either use canonical url – so only page 1 will be indexed; or to modify the other pages in Taxonomies in Yoast to avoid duplications (H1, H2 and Meta Descriptions).
What do you recommend? Or does WooCommerce have “standard practice” for paginated product categories?

The meta content are not part of a theme file. They are from a plugin, usually SEO, and vary for each page. What exactly are you wanting to change?

Hello,
The transparent header settings can be overridden on each page, so go into the edit screen for your blog page, and under “page title and subtitle,” make sure that “Transparent Header?” is set to true.
Does that make a difference?

Hello,
You should be able to change the button text and link by going to Theme Options> home page layout, and then selecting “module latest posts.”
There you’ll see an area for the read more text, and below that the “Select Read More Page link” is where you set the link.
Does that work for you?

After ticking the box in ‘Theme Options’ on the ‘Home Page Layout’ for ‘The Latest Blog Posts’ this displayed nicely, but I cannot find where to change the link for the ‘More Posts’ Button, it does not appear in neither the WordPress Editor nor Elementor?

You should have pasted the above code in your custom css box in Theme Options > Custom CSS, but when I inspect your page I am not seeing it there. Have you added it?

I added to WPML some custom languages such as en_CA, de_CH, de_AT, fr_BE, es_MX etc. Pages, Products etc. have been copied and they work.
Just WooCommerce is odd. Some languages such as es_MX and de_CH work perfect in the sales process [Shop, Cart, Checkout]. Others like fr_BE roll back to English. As fr_BE is in every string equal to fr_FR; how can I tell WooCommerce / Pinnacle Theme, to use fr_FR translation file?

It sounds like you’re wanting a transparent header? Our Pinnacle and Ascend themes were designed to function with a transparent header, but unfortunately Virtue was not. You can use some css to make this work on some pages, though it is not necessarily advised. Are you just wanting this for your homepage?Hannah

Almost all my category pages have more than 1 page. I was advised to use canonical urls so the bots will crawl only the first page. How do I make these pages canonical? Cannot see any boxes in the Edit category.Thanks a lot.

Please forgive me if I’ve missed something obvious but I’m struggling to adjust the spacing between my recent blog posts on a site I’m working on: *Login to see link
When I opt for three columns, it all looks great and evenly spaced, however when opting for just two columns the ‘gutter’ between the columns is excessive, as if it’s still allowing for a minimum of three columns. I have tried various css workarounds without success.
All I am trying to achieve is two recent blog posts columns which match the overall width of the other columns / panels on the page.
I’d be really grateful of any guidance of how to achieve this.

I just wanted to inform you that the “Embed” tag does not work in WooCommerce custom tabs (custom tab 01 to 03):
<embed src="*Login to see link type="application/pdf" width="800" height="500"></embed>However, the tag works in the product description section. I would like to use this tag to display a pdf documentation in a product custom tab.
To avoid the problem, I created an intermediate page in which I display the pdf file with the embed tag. Then I use the plugin “display posts” to display the content of this page in the custom tab ([display-posts] shortcode).
Could you please add support for the “embed” tag in the custom tabs of WooCommerce when updating the theme in the future?

One of my websites is having multiple issues suddenly.
A couple days ago, the background image stopped displaying. It was entered correctly in the Theme Options but I removed it and selected it again, just to be safe. No luck. I contacted my web host to see if anything was going on with the server. They said no but suggested I use some CSS to pull in the background. Did that and now it’s displaying but I’d still like to know why it stopped.
About the same time, the tabs on my product pages started acting up. All the tabs are more narrow than usual and some of the pages seem to have an extra set of tab outlines, but no tab data.
Pretty sure that the only recent changes to the site are that I installed Elementor, Kadence WooCommerce Elementor, and Kadence WooCommerce Elementor Pro. I haven’t made any templates though. I tried deactivating all three plugins but that didn’t fix the product tab issue.
There is a TON of code in my Custom CSS Box that I don’t recognize. I deleted that and now everything works again. Does Elementor add code to the Custom CSS Box located in the Theme Options?

Elementor and Pro both installed correctly. I have tried with them activated as well as deactivated.
Any help` would be welcome
