Hi!

I have a portfolio page displaying all portfolio types. On the right top corner there’s that menu/filter box, where you can choose between post types to filter and display. Is there any way I can choose which portfolio types goes one that list? I’m asking because I’d like it to show only parent/main types (for example: “All”, “cats”, “Dogs”), and not also those set as a sub-category (“All”, “Cats”, “Scottish Fold”, “Persian” “Dogs”, “Pug”, etc).

Hello,

This isn’t controlled by the plugin, and it’s also not the normal behavior for the block editor. Something is not correct on your site, likely a server issue. When editing the page, are you getting any javascript errors in your console?

If you like, you can post a login in a private and I’ll take a look at the javascript console for errors for you.

Do you mean the portfolio post title or the image captions? You can use this css to center the portfolio post titles:

.single-portfolio .page-header .col-md-8.col-sm-8 {
    width: 100%;
    text-align: center;
}

sorry I am not sure where to put my request, but can I please get a refund?

I am happily using the Ascend Theme (free) and the Email Designer, but I couldn’t quite get the job done with the pro version of Kadence Woocommerce Elementor. Sadly the plugin broke my site (especially the checkout-page which I bought the plugin for didn’t work anymore). However I found a way to get my results by just using your theme and elementor.

Can I get a refund, do you need any ohter information?

Hi,

I started setting up my site when Page Builder was bundled with Pinnacle Premium and I only used it (I think) on one page where I needed to get a multi-column layout. Some other pages were created with the Template set to ‘Page Builder’ rather than ‘Default’ but all content was added using the HTML editor tab rather than the Page Builder tab.

Is it now possible to get rid of Page Builder and use Kadence Blocks instead? Might that save a bit of script loading etc. or am I pointlessly creating work for myself? My concern is that, because it has been there from the start, I don’t know what elements of my site might mess up if it was uninstalled. Possibly I don’t really need either plugin as the Pinnacle theme is so good on its own?

Would very much appreciate your advice, some site links in the post below.

Hi Guys,

I’ve been developing a new website using Virtue Premium and Gutenberg and all has been going well, I’ve used your new Blocks plugin and where needed I’ve used the Pagebuilder plugin as well, most notably when I’ve needed a Parallax background.

Unfortunately I’ve just come across an issue with saving changes to a page. When I click on save the initial change is saved but the save button remains in the updating state and won’t allow any subsequent changes to be made, the only way to recover is to refresh the page which then loosed all the subsequent changes. At this point it appears the autosave functionality was not working properly.

My thoughts were that this was related to a plugin I was using so I went through the process of disabling all plugins and introducing the incrementally to try and identify the culprit and it turns out it’s the Pagebuilder plugin as there’s no problem with it disabled.

Have you guys come across this yet and do you know if there is a fix or a fix in the works.

If this is temporary and Pagebuilder is on track to have full Gutenberg integration then I can live with it in the Knowledge it will be fixed. I can’t have this continuing once the site is live as my client will want to update the contents themselves once the site is live.

I have same problem.
Use Ascend theme and Page Builder, this combination will not let me update pages Sub Tittle and page background.
content is updated but not these and also it is possible only ONCE update (the “saving” pending), after need leave editing and come again.
I do not love use Page Builder, but I need it for some pages.

I suggest you create custom pages using the portfolio grid template and link to those, that would auto surround your text with the styling. As it stands there is no div around the content of a tag description so you can add that through the html input and style it:

But I suggest creating your own pages so you have more control.

You can just navigate to appearance> menus, and then select your menu.

To the left under pages and posts, you should see “custom links.” In that dropdown, you can configure your custom menu items and place them within your menu wherever needed. If you don’t see custom links, make sure the box is ticked in the screen options at the top of the page.

Hey,
Lets talk through so pages and reference where everything is, hopefully, that will help with other pages.

On your contact page, in the page content area you have the shortcode for columns and the icons that you see on the left side of your content page. While in the edit if you scroll down to the “Contact page options” you can see options to enable a map and a contact form, if you enable the contact form (which you have because the demo content has it set that way) then it will show on the right side of the page.

If you enable a map (which you have because the demo content has it set that way) it will show above the content.

If you prefer you can turn the map and contact form off and then the only content that would show on that page is what you have in the content box.

HOME PAGE:

On your home page, if you go to theme options > home layout and look in the “home page layout manager” you have enabled (because the demo content has it set that way) the icon menu which shows just below the home slider.

If you want to remove the icon menu just drag that to the disabled column. If you want to edit that icon menu scroll down till you see the secion for Icon menu and edit the content.

you can do this with all the things that are set as “enabled”.

The slider is set in your theme options > home slider.

I’m not experiencing this issue on my site. The first thing I would check is your active plugins for a conflict. You can do so by deactivating them one by one and testing the save feature when a plugin is OFF.

You could also have a setting in your server that’s not allowing for proper saving of your pages. Do you have any javascript errors when attempting to save?
