December 3, 2018 at 3:03 pm #209796You can remove woocommerce ordering dropdown with this css:
.kt_shop_top_container .woocommerce-ordering { display: none; }I went ahead and added for you.
Your attributes widget won’t show because it would be empty if it did show. That widget will only show where it can be used. You are setting it to filter by the attribute tags, not the taxonomy tags. See here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-product-taxonomies/
That filter will only filter where you set the attributes to something that your products are assigned to.
I changed the attribute widget to filter on color so you can see how it works on your shop page.
hopefully this clears up that it has nothing to do with your sidebar1 not showing only your settings in the widgets you are adding.

December 3, 2018 at 2:22 pm #209789Hey,
That filter is not a menu or a replacement for a menu. It’s designed simply to filter what is on the page. It won’t work as a menu or a way to show all the products of a category if they are not on one page. You would either need to set hte posts per page to include all of your products or turn off that filter and use a menu and link to categories.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: KAD MODAL – Virtue Premium
Hi there! I have membership – LOVE LOVE all your themes (really love Ascend Premium)!
I am having a problem with Virtue Premium.
My client LOVES website . . . I am using KAD MODAL on Staff pages. It was working for a long time, however, there was an update that STOPPED it from working. This page: *Login to see link
It was working flawlessly – my clients love this. But, if I update the theme – the “View Bio” buttons disappear completely.
So, that being said, I have not been updating the theme (which I know I should because I will run into problems I’m sure).
Can you help me with this?
I believe I sent request previously – said you were updating the theme to fix this issue. But, I tried to update on my end and the buttons disappeared again.
So I reinstalled older version – which is what we’re using right now.
Thank you!

I’m just setting up a website using the virtue theme and bold child them. Having an issue with getting the “sidebar 1” on product page and shop page to show up. I have check through out the theme options and don’t know what I have missed. Also I have “sort by popularity” showing up and don’t want that and can’t find where to turn it off?

Hello,
1. You can go to Theme Options> Shop Archive Settings and set “Shop Product Column Layout” to One Column.
2. Did you clear your cache after making the change and give WooCommerce some time to regenerate your thumbnail images? It can take awhile for this to be complete if you have a lot of product image.
3. I can’t speak for that plugin, but it doesn’t have a very large user base and the reviews it does have aren’t very good, so I would probably not recommend it. I don’t really understand exactly what you’re wanting to change. Can you show a screenshot so I can see exactly what you’re wanting to change?
4. Are you wanting your select boxes to allow users to select product variations on your product pages? If so, you can setup variable products by following this tutorial:
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/Or are you thinking of something different?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: SiteOrigin PageBuilder vs. Elementor
Hey James,
This is really a preference thing. I have come to really enjoy Elementor for multiple reasons, but I especially love its flexibility and the front-end editor. Though there are some who don’t like the front-end editor. But in my opinion it’s worth trying out! If you haven’t seen this post I suggest reading it over: https://www.kadencewp.com/recommended-page-builders-for-wordpress/
Let me know if you have other questions on this!Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Ascend ThemeIn reply to: Anchor Links
AnonymousDecember 2, 2018 at 12:32 pm #209670Hi there, Ben,
Thank you for your help.
I’ve turned on the animated scroll for anchor links.
I added a row above the row which contains the video, and then added the following text:
This WAS causing the anchor link to jump to halfway down the video even though the text was above the video (which I thought would provide some offset so that the video would appear in the correct place).
However, now this is not jumping or scrolling anywhere, it just loads at the very top of the page.
Not sure what to do next…
Thanks again,
AmberIn forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: General Question
I have a lot of sites with this theme. I have 3 that do not have this theme. I want to use this and the child theme. Will I loose everything? I’m most concerned about “e-commerce” store data. I know that I will have to rebuild the home page? Is there a way to do this and minimize loose?
Kindest Regards,
Ted

The reason was a conflict between elementor templates and the woocommerce template builder from Kadence. I figured out that pages for woocommerce have to have only the shrotcode. Don’t touch it with elementor.
Would be nice to have this info in the documentation…
And finally I appreciate the felxibility o fthe theme. but it is allways a little bit tricky to firgure out how template and elementor work together… specially with basic documentation

In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: Paragraph Indentation
AnonymousDecember 1, 2018 at 6:54 pm #209654Hi there,
I am trying to align the text in the top righthand side of this page, to be flush with the opt-in signup form directly below it:
*Login to see linkI haven’t found a way to nudge the signup form to the left of the cell, so instead I am wondering if there is a way to nudge the text indentation to the right, so it is aligned?
Thank you!
In forum: Ascend ThemeTopic: checkout page
Hi ben,
after i checked all possible alternatives I have to resume that the woo checkout page doesn’t appear properly!
i tried all your themes. with those I’m not really happy because when i use elementor i need only basic configuration options. the theme is for elementor blown up….the checkout page:
order layout comes sometimes with layout and somtimes without. see *Login to see link vel/checkout/
payment area is at the end of the page! it should follow to the order info! plugin is in the same box.thanks for your support what to do!
and now after i’m a member I realise that you support only your themes. I bought the membership account to use woo plugins and there specialy the cart and checkout plugin to customize the checkout… That doesn’t really work i tried more than 6 themes and always css problems and never a proper and useful layout. I’m not really happy with your solutions.
And by the way I prefer to have questions like that first in a private message. but there is no option.
all the best

AnonymousDecember 1, 2018 at 4:27 pm #209649Hi there,
I am working on the design of this shop:
*Login to see linkThe layout my client wants is:
–to have all the products in a single column (i.e. one product per row)
–to have each row / product thumbnail be a bit smaller, so you can see more products “above the fold” at once
–To have checkboxes next to each product, so someone can go down the page, check the products they want, and then click “add to cart” and all the products go in at onceIn an attempt to format the store this way, I am wondering the following:
#1 – I’m looking at the “sort by” toggle section in the upper righthand corner of the store. Is it possible to make the default layout be the “rows” option rather than the “grid” option? Screenshot –> *Login to see link
#2 – In the “customizing >> woocommerce” section, I have changed the thumbnails to be 100 pixels and saved the changes, but the thumbnails are not getting smaller on the live site. Is there another way to make each entry smaller? Screenshot –> *Login to see link
#3 – I’ve installed the “WooCommerce Stacked Product Layout” plugin and followed all the setup instructions on this page:
*Login to see linkBut I don’t see any changes reflected on the live site after following the instructions. Screenshot –> *Login to see link
Will this plugin work with your theme? Do you have another recommendation for another plugin?#4 – I have no idea how to make the checkboxes next to each product. Does your theme offer this capability? If not, do you know a plugin which will help us set this up?
Thank you in advance for your help! Cheers!

In forum: Virtue Themehi,
I have a problem with the Portfolio Post Options
if I choose for: image grid. ( project options )
Then, If i click on a photo, the photo will open like a new page, and I cannot click to the next image, or see the next picture.I have to go back in my browser to go back to my portfolio page.
If I choose for an other option with the portfolio Post options,
for exemple: Image Carousel. Then If I click on a photo, the photo will open in a kind of ‘slider’, ( backgrond portfolio page is darker ) and I can click to the next image, and see all pictures in my portfolio. If I close this ‘slider’ I am back on my portfolio page.
Hope you have any advice

I’m really starting to love Ascend, and am starting to use it as an option with Virtue.I started to adjust some of the css (I was given this PSD to match the shop page for) and all the style sheets say the are .less
Do we have to do anything to make the css work in the theme since it’s working with Less? I don’t really koow Less and Sass yet.
Thoughts?
