As for removing the above footer widget area on landing page templates you can use this css:

.page-template-template-landing .above_footer_outer {
    display: none;
}

Update:

Managed to sort it out. It was a plugin conflict. Home page now shows 2 categories and link to correct page.

The only problem I have now is the actual Portfolio page.
https://lightandshadows.co.uk/portfolio/
It goes direct to the home page for some reason.

Any idea?

Active means it’s the active or current page. Sounds like you just want a hover effect and no active.

Hey,

You have a couple options.

You can use the home widget area and use the “layout widget” in the home widget area to create any kind of content you want.

Or You can add latest posts and featured carousel as widgets in page builder in your normal page content and you don’t need to use the home modules.

You can click “virtue shortcodes” in a visual editor widget to add the blog posts and you can use virtue: carousel for the featured carousel. Then simply add another row and add whatever you want below those.

Hi Guys,

I added extra widgit into header.

Now all pages with Page Title and Subtitle header are in mess.

Header doesn’t hold the image size. – It is a full page view now.

Hi

Trying to set up a portfolio page using your tutorial and followed all the steps but I get the following error.

“Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.
It looks like this was the result of either:

a mistyped address
an out-of-date link”

I don’t have any pages of the same name in my directory.

This is the page showing error:

I have seen a few posts with same problem and followed instructions on there but it still shows error.

Ok… been dealing with this since I started working with Theme but it really hasn’t bothered me until now… I have 6 menu items setup and only one of the 6 has 3 sub-menu items. When I am at the Home page the ‘Home’ is showing ‘active’ color even though there is no mouse-over. Also, the menu item with the 3 sub-menus is showing ‘active’ color as well. Why?! And, can I stop that. They should all be black until mouse-over and THEN change to active color as indicated. But, it has NEVER worked that way. What do I need to do?

Hi. I know how to do it now. On my site it goes: Page title, Page content, Latest Blog Posts and Featured Content. The Page content area is the part that I add my own text and Parallax images etc. Shame I can’t add another Page content at the bottom of the layout in Home Page Layout Manager to add Text, Parallax at the bottom after blog as well as after Page Title.

Unless you know of another way.

When I created the pages that use the virtue shortcode for YouTbe videos, upon completion of the video it would display the beginning of the video again. That was perfect, I did not want other options shown. This can still be seen when you play the video “Tips for using the Shaws Pad” on this page: *Login to see link

However, if you play the video above it “The Environmental Advantages of Using Shaws Pads”, upon completion of this video it displays other video options on my YouTube channel. This is what I do not want. The coding is the same for both of these videos; the video url is the only thing different. As I checked other YouTube videos on my site I found they were now displaying ‘options’ after the video completes; yet, it is not how it was when I set it up.

What happened that these videos no longer return to the beginning of the video? Why is it now showing me other options? How can this be fixed? I don’t know where to look for a remedy.

I had issues the last couple days with product pages getting caught in a loop while loading images, and with the woo commerce updated plug. I updated the theme from you then woo commerce and still had the issue of loop while loading the product page, I deactivated your woo extras plug and it now works fine. I think you need to take a look at that.

I am suddenly getting smaller images on product pages when a variation is clicked. This wasn’t happening before, and it makes no difference if I go in and set specific images for each variation – still a small square thumbnail as opposed to a nice big landscape image. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
