Try going to Theme Options> Shop Settings, and turn “Enable Product Image Aspect Ratio on Catalog pages” to OFF.

Does that allow the WooCommerce settings to take effect?

Hi,

My friend asked me to put a background on his website only for the homepage. I can’t manage to put a full width/height background with the content of the homepage in front. It would be nice of the footer and menu were transparent too but it doesn’t seem to work with the theme options > Advanced styling.

I tried to put a homeslider with the kadence slider but that does not works for me.

Can anyone please help me?

Hi,

My friend asked me to put a background on his website only for the homepage. I can’t manage to put a full width/height background with the content of the homepage in front. It would be nice of the footer and menu were transparent too but it doesn’t seem to work with the theme options > Advanced styling.

Can you please advise that we have got the Licence copy of Virtue theme and I believe we got the FREE Page Builder which is Visual Builder with it.

Can you please advise upgrade for this plugin will be done from Virtue theme or we have to buy the separate license?

Sorry, I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. Infinite scroll is meant for archive pages when you don’t want to use pagination. I’m not sure how this would apply to a single post page. Can you please elaborate? What is the link to your site?

Hi Sharon,
Your API license email is the email associated with your Kadence account.
We are currently in the process of adding our Kadence Gutenberg Demo to the importer (https://themes.kadencethemes.com/ascend-5/), however, it is not available just yet.
The current demos were created using Page Builder by Siteorigin. If you want to use the Gutenberg editor instead I would actually suggest creating new pages as the pages built with siteorigin will not transfer fluidly.

I got 3 questions (page: http://www.schmittegmbh.ch):

1: How can I change the color of links on posts, product descriptions, pages etc. without changing the highlight color?
I could of course use custom CSS but that would mean that I need to add custom code to each link whenever I create a new page, product etc.
I was hoping there would be a way to just change the link color without affecting the highlight color site wide.

2: I noticed that there is no way to access the “shopping cart” in the mobile version unless you have a “top bar” on your page. Is there a way to get the little shopping cart icon that shows in the desktop version to show up in the mobile main menu as well? As a work around, I added a link to the shopping cart in the main menu which will also display in the mobile menu. However this is not a good solution as the link in the main menu is redundant in the desktop version of the page (I now have the shopping cart icon as well as the shopping cart link in the desktop version of the page). If there is currently no way to access the shopping cart from the mobile page without a “top bar”, I would like to put in a feature request.

3: For some reason “Shipping” is not translated to the installed local language on the check out page (see posted picture).

I discovered an issue with the rendering of the mobile version. It also happens in your demo theme. I can also simulate it on my desktop browser by making the browser window very narrow. At some resolutions, it renders the background of the product tile larger than the product image itself. This creates a bad looking border around the product picture. It’s not that obvious if you have a white page background and a white product tile background (as you have on your demo page), but it looks very bad if the backgrounds have a different color. See attached picture for an example.
Issue appears on the product archive page as well as in all the carrousels (featured products, similar products etc.)
Any chance this can be fixed?

Hey,
The Kadence toolkit isn’t needed with the premium theme. It won’t activate on purpose so you don’t run it while the premium theme is running.

Can you tell me what version of the premium theme is that you are using? When you create a new page what options do you see for page templates?

Hey,
Gutenberg is coming and it’s not optional. You don’t have to use it like a page builder but you will have to use it. Even site origin will work within that environment. So I suggest getting used to how it works, experiment with it and site origin. I don’t think you need to change but I would suggest testing with it. I don’t think you need to learn elementor. I would suggest just checking it out but in general you don’t need to move away.

Hey,
The top is a Kadence slider.
Under that is the Icon menu module.
Under that is the home featured products module.
Under that is the portfolio carousel module.
Under that is hte lasts posts module.
Under that is page content module. Where it pulls in the content from the page. That content is created using pagebuilder and adding a background to the row.

Im having a little issue with the secondary menu on the site celebrating.com.au. When we hover the menus dont open. You have to click on them for them to open up.

They seem to work fine on the home page, but as soon as you click away to another page, they stop working. Any ideas how to solve this?

Hi Ben,
I am not an expert, all I am learning through your support forum and open internet support. I have been trying to prevent duplicate meta description for SEO purpose. As you see in the trail mail there are 2 URL of same name (H.Mohinder Singh), one is under portfolio and another is created on a page. As I understand from your mail that portfolio cannot have a parent page attribute. How ever, I will live with it or could change all portfolio to page.
