Hi Team,

A client initially wanted some text on each image of a slider. I put this together with a Kadence Pro slider.
I now understand that they require a set of links to appear on each slide – the same set on every picture.

Am I correct that each link must be set as a separate layer? That’s a lot of setting up. Especially if they come back and ask me to change the spacing or something!

Please could you advise: is there a better way to produce a single overlay that sits over the slider and shows the links with a transparent background? Naturally, it must still be responsive!

1. looks like changing the CSS selector to just #payment #place_order added the following side effect to the my-account/add-payment-method/ page:

2. Also the :after triangle has color #ddd whereas the box color is #444. I’ll fix this for our child theme but thought to let you know.

Hey,
You would have to make a custom template per archive and manually add in the category name and parent category name. There isn’t a way to automate that. You can do this though by assigning a different archive template in each product category.

Else you would need to code that into the page and that would get tricky since you would need to target only specific archives where a parent category existed.

To remove the result count and sort you can add this in your theme options > custom css box:

.kad-shop-top {
    display: none;
}

For the image your uploaded ratio is not square: http://holzer-dev.tethis-it.at/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/anrichte-A1-4T_6L_S_SF-1.jpg

So in your theme options > shop settings, scroll down to “Shop Category Image Size” and turn off the ratio.

Hey,

No, shortcodes to not create pages of posts. You should just assign that page a blog template that displays that category and you’ll be set.

You just need to submit your sitemap url ( royalsea-us.com/sitemap_index.xml ) to google, rather than your homepage url. Does that make sense? Or am I missing something?

Unfortunately I now seem to have a real problem.

I entered the site to change the background colour of home page header and there were no options when I clicked on Home Page Header. It was a blank page. In fact that happened with all the theme options – nothing, just a blank page. Also, the initial home page I made has gone. I add new pages, publish and update but then they don’t appear in ‘pages’. I have published 3 home pages (since they didn’t show up) – they don’t appear in ‘pages’; but when I go to setting > readings > static page, I see the 3 home pages as options to set for the static page!?

Background to this problem (in case any of these might have caused the problem):

1) I Reset the whole page a few days ago to start from scratch, after saving all content.
2) I have put it in Coming Soon Mode, which works for other computers but on my computer, although the back end shows the Coming Soon Mode is active, I see the actual website – not the image of the coming soon mode.Yesterday the host supporters cleared the cache their end and they sent me a link to clear it my end.
3) **When I activated the WPML plug in, there appeared a problem which said (with red line):
We have detected a problem with some tables in the database. Please contact WPML support to get this fixed.
Table ‘newaxial_408.408_icl_strings’ doesn’t exist. (followed by list of data)

That is what shows up at the beginning each time I enter into any of the back end options. For example, I enter into any theme option and what comes up is this message with red line about the DB table problems – and under that, the list of options but all blank.

I have mentioned this to WPML, who are in the process of looking into it, and will also contact my host. In the meantime, do you have any idea what’s going on from a Theme perspective?

You should be able to set that color in Theme Options> Home Page Header by setting the background color.

Does that work for you?

I’ve opened the home page and i’m in the page builder where the text can be changed for this area, but I still can’t see anywhere to edit the image (image link here: screenshot. I want to change it to something else rather than remove it 🙂

I should have said, it’s the picture at the bottom of the page (just above the footer) with the ‘want to see more’ message across it – not to be confused with the snow topped slider at the top of the page.

That is the call to action widget controlled in your home page content. View your home page while logged in, and click “edit page” at the top. Remove the page builder row and you should be set.

If not, please post a link.

Hey,

Sounds like you’re referring to the call to action widget that’s being added to the home page content. You can edit this by going to the edit screen for your home page and deleting the page builder row. Or you can disable the home page content in Theme Options> Home Layout.

If either of those options do not work, can you please post a link so that I can see which demo you’ve added to your site?

Hi, I’ve used one of the virtue premium templates to save a bit of time, but i’m a bit lost with changing one of the images in the template. As you scroll down the home page there’s a picture of some snow topped hills that scrolls behind the text panels. I’ve looked at pretty much every editable aspect of the site and can’t find where it’s using the image from.
Ultimately I want to change it, but can’t!
Does anyone know where in the menus I can find the option to change this image?
