    Can you increase the permissions of the profile so that I can edit a page to see the problem?

    Hey guys,

    Hopefully, this is an easy fix for you guys…

    Basically, I’m looking to have the background on this page (see below)
    resize to either a max height of around 500px and the width of the screen,
    or just kind of resize ‘nicely’ with no repeats..

    I’m happy with how it looks on a desktop but on mobiles etc. I’d
    like the background image to resize to fit the top part of the site
    better than it does..

    Been playing around with different ideas but I’m not any further forward! 🙁

    Many thanks as always!

    Hi,
    I have a couple items in my menu that I use to bring the viewers to an actual page.
    See url: freemiums.com ex. Menu- Products- Freemiums- Metal % Jewelry.
    I don’t want people to click on Products or Freemiums.
    How do I do this?

    Topic: Header Broke

    #198823

    Hello,

    After I added the TOP BAR for my E-commerce navigation, the landing page HEADER is over the Kadence Slider background and text.

    URL:

    The part that says LUZ EN TU BELLEZA and REJUVENECIMIENTO FACIAL are behind the header.

    Also, I would like to run a multilingual site. Is there any way to have different Kadence Slider to configure the text and language accordingly, so that Spanish speaking visitors read “Luz en tu Belleza” & “Rejuvenecimiento Facial” while English speaking visitors read “Light in your Beauty” & “Facial Rejuvenation”

    Thank you!

    You can also add a redirect from a fake “shop” page using a plugin like this:

    Hey,

    By default, when you assign a page as your shop, WooCommerce will override the template. Would it work for you to link to the page in your menu as a regular page, and not as a WooCommerce page?

    Then your page content will not be effected.

    I don’t believe there’s a way to create this layout using the free theme, but if you decide to use premium you can add a shortcode like this to your homepage: [kad_blog orderby=date items=4 fullpost=false] That should display your blog posts as you’re wanting.

    Hi, I’ve got the menu page pretty much how I need it on this site, and I have used an image-menu to link to each part of the menu. All good so far.

    However, when I set Woocommerce to use the menu page as “the shop page”, the formatting changes and the category links are added to the bottom of the page.

    I there a way top stop this happening? I believe I need to set WooCommerce to point to the menu page so that when an order is complete, the visitor can be directed back.

    Many thanks,
    Phil.

    Hey

    I want to place some image as hint for measuring. Like lable name is “Height *” i want a text “Hint” after “Height *”.When i click on Hint it shows a image in popup

    ^ I believe that would only be possible through some custom coding But you would need to check with the plugin developer for hte checkout editing plugin you are using.

    Its Lokks Good but when i proceed to next page “order Recieved” Heading Not Shown

    .woocommerce-order-details .woocommerce-table--custom-fields:before {
        content: 'Custom Size';
        font-family: "Futura Light font";
        font-size: 28px;
        padding: 10px;
        display: block;
    }

    also “custom fit” is not shown in my orders under wordpress

    You would need to talk with the plugin author you are using for the custom fields. It sounds like you may need to create something more custom that would require you code it out.

    Hannah, Thanks for your help, but this is not what I wanted. When I set up the Homepage as you suggested, the Latest Posts fall directly under the slider, and the Welcome message that was present (when I had set the Homepage as a static page) doesn’t display, of course, because the Reading setting now calls for “Your latest posts”. In addition, to get the Featured Image to appear at the top of each of these Latest Posts, I have to set Theme Options > Home Layout > Page Content Options > Latest Post Display > Full (instead of Post Excerpt). That makes for a very long scroll down through many full posts before the viewer gets down to the icon menu. Is there a relatively simple way to get the Homepage set up in the following order, top to bottom: TOPBAR > HEADER > SLIDER > TITLE/INTRODUCTION > ICON MENU > LATEST POSTS (Full width, excerpt, featured image on top of each) > PORTFOLIO GALLERY > FOOTER? I’m willing to create a child theme and modify template(s) or insert custom block(s) or widget(s) using Page Builder if necessary. Would either the Pinnacle or Ascend theme be better for my design?

    I purchased the Virtue Premium theme for a previous project. I chose the free version for this site because it has all I need in this case (presumably) and I don’t want any clutter that might slow the site down.

    Blocked meaning password protected.

    I sometimes when developing put the page as hidden until it’s up correctly and then unblock it. this time, i kept unblocking it and it jumped back to blocked (password required) and I would delete the cache, try again and it did the same thing!

    #198751

    Please refresh the page. I changes the setting

    hmm, that is odd. By blocked page are you saying private? or password protected or this is some setting added by a plugin?

    Can you post a login so I can see you checkout page. Right now you have it set that only logged in people can see checkout.

    It think a possible solution without coding something custom would be to use css but I need to see your output first.

    Please keep each topic to one question and avoid double posting:

    #198722

    Hello. I am having the same problem as described above. After the latest update, all my portfolio links were broken and getting a 404 error message. My first instinct was to verify my portfolio settings; and they were as intended, so I re-saved my theme settings and then refreshed my permalinks, but that did not work out this time. It actually made it WORSE as now the pages are on a constant re-direct loop, generating a “too many redirects message”… Please help!

    Update: the “too many redirects” went away after I deleted all my cache files BUT the links still say “portfolio” instead of what I have set up under “portfolio options”. I have re-saved my permalinks and deleted my caches numerous times, to no avail.

    P.S.: I use Virtue Premium “Bold” on my site.
