Hi
I’m using shortcodes to pull out articles in categories, by date, 2 columns, 8 posts per page, but for some reason they’re not showing on the category pages i’ve setup.

The outline is actually part of the logo. You can see it when you open the attachment page:

The home page will always pull from theme options. What is the shortcode you’re trying to use? Can you specify so that I can test?
You should be able to use the theme options to get the home page header looking however you like

Hello,
My site is Skunkapetreestands.com. We’ve just implemented an email lead capturing plugin called Mailchimp for WP. There is also an add-on feature for this plugin that allows us to create a topbar to collect these email. The problem is that this plugin just overlays on top of our header and blocks page navigation. So, I then activated the Ascend top bar to act as a spacer. It seems to work great from Chrome, but when testing on FireFox and mobile, the Ascend top bar is not showing up, so the email top bar is still covering the header/navigation on those browsers. Any thoughts on how I can either get this plugin to appear on top of the header or how I can get the Ascend top bar to work with FireFox and mobile?

I use Ascend Gallery (carousel equal ratio images) on the front page, in ‘Above Footer widget area’ part. I’ve added 8 images to the gallery, however only 6 images are displayed.
Can you please check this?

I’ve just updated to Ascend Premium version 1.5.8 and the “Extra Shortcodes” menu option that appears at the top of Site Origin Page Builder widgets has disappeared.

Is it possible to use the ‘Page Title and Subtilte Settings’ settings from the home page?
Using the button shortcode in the subtitle area works here, but if I use the ‘Home page header content’ from the theme setteings, the button shortcode does not work.Would be great if I could just use the settings from the page itself.

HI Ben, many thanks for that. The reason I ask is because I tried Elementor and although I quite liked it, it didn’t seem to play well if I set the page’s transparent header to true. There was I white gap at the top of the page that I just couldn’t get rid of. If I turn Transparent header off, it looked OK 😀

The lastfew days when I receive a mail from my page it has changed, so I know got the mail, and when I want to reply (answer the mail) It will be sent to me instead of the custumer
before when I reply – the customers mail automatical appear in the answer mail

In forum: Virtue ThemeYour payment gateway is not including #payment id in its container. That is how the button is usually styled. I can change the selection to use the class instead, in the next theme version.
I upgrade from 4.6.8 to 4.7.2 and now it works except that the the theme color is not picked up. The Virtue default fallback color is used instead. Maybe it’s a regression. Here’s a screenshot since it is not live yet:
(I know how I could fix this myself with some CSS but thought to let you know)
PS Also I think the button should float left and not right since all other input things (payment radio, customer name, address) are mainly on the left of the page. But that’s maybe not something to change for everybody… just fyi.

Ben, I would prefer to solve the problem a different way.
Here’s another piece to the puzzle. I just tried to install Kadence Slider on another site and I received the exact same error. Could the problem be in the update code? When running the update process for Kadence Slider to update it from 2.2.5 to 2.2.7, the Updating Plugin page displays this text:
Downloading update from https://kernl-file-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/19-03-2018/06-21-06/kadence-slider/kadence-slider.zip…
The date of 19-03-2018 is older than I would expect. Could one of the update parameters be downloading an out-of-date file?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIt would pull in an image uploaded to that page. “attached” to the page. It’s the intent that if you selected that template you must want something to show so it tries all avenues of attached content. When you upload an image in a page WordPress records the relationship as attached.
