I see what your saying, if your wanting the title and then to use pagebuilder below this is tricky, I’ll add some support for this with the next update to leave in the padding unless the title is removed.

Hey,
You seem to not be using page builder but instead the slider. If you are wanting to add a search widget based on another post you made then you need to use page builder and add your buttons there along with your search widget.

The slider will not allow a widget.

In the slider you can drag buttons around however you like to arrange them. But I again suggest for what you are wanting that you use page builder.

I am trying to see whether I prefer image menu or info box on a site’s homepage.
Is there a way to add a hover colour to the info box – as right now it just has the shadow but not hover colour..

Also if there is a way to add hover, can I make it hover red then blue then red etc…

I am pretty certain I’ve seen this asked here previously, but cannot find it in the search. Is there a way to change the hyperlink clicking on the logo takes one to? I would like it to go to an outside site, not the HOME page.

Hi Kevin,

I’m not really using a category page as such but when visiting it, there are still only 3 products showing for the ‘Garden Sculpture’ category: http://www.mothdesign.co.uk/robertjamesworkshop/sculpture-shop/

In the Ascend Carousel widget on the page I first sent to you I have now increased the items to 20 but there are still only 3 showing.

I can’t figure out where I’ve gone wrong on this one!

Can you link to the category page where these 5 products show up? If there are 5 in the category then they should all be showing in the carousel. In the carousel widget settings do you have a number set for “items?”

Good morning Kadence,

I’m sure this has been addressed before but couldn’t find the correct topic. I’m hoping to find a means of changing the default Woo titles that seem to be locked in to the plugin – namely ‘Shipping’ and ‘Cart’.

On my basket page, the left column is titled ‘Cart Summary’ and the right column is titled ‘Basket Totals’. Is there a way of keeping these titles consistent, using the title ‘Basket’ instead of ‘Cart’? Also, my client will never ‘Ship’ anything, so here again, I’d love this to say something like ‘Delivery’

Any pointers would be great if you have any solutions.

Hi,

I’m trying to put a button in the Header which is on the side mode.

I have put a modal in for a form so to ask a question they click the button in the header and the modal opens. It is opening but the formatting is all over the place, I’m thinking it may be because it is in the header it’s restricted to that size rather than the whole page??

Any tips on how I can get around this please. I tried to add it as an Accordian button so the form shows on opening the title but that doesn’t work either?

I want to set up Mailchimp in my Virtue Child Theme. I have a mailchimp account now, with a code they want me to paste into the theme header.php before close tag. Not certain what the steps are. I want to put a signup on homepage and side widgets on the other pages.

Before putting in that code, I played with the MC form builder and added one as a widget. But the color setup I used inside Mailchimp is not showing up on website. Don’t know how to add it any page that doesn’t have side widgets. Please advice. Thanks.

Are you adding through pagebuilder? You can use pagebuilder columns or just add in a the visual editor widget.

Hey Sam,

1. In your theme options > blog options. Scroll down to “Blog Post Summary Default” what is that set to?

2. You should use pagebuilder, then create three columns (or however many you want) and use the “visual editor” widget. Add that widget to each column. Open the widget and click “virtue shortcodes” there choose “icon box” and generate the icon box shortcode.

3. Same as above, using pagebuilder makes this easier to work with and control. But you can also add column shortcodes and place the icon box shortcodes inside those columns as well.

Hi Ben,

The single image lightbox works great, thank you for that! With respect to Page Builder, I can control everything but the title padding, I cannot seem to adjust padding directly above the title? It is very close to the header no matter what I do?

Hey,
Padding is fully adjustable in pagebuilder. You can add padding to any row.

But you can easily link to a lightbox with the normal add media button. When you click it, select and image in the bottom right corner you have link options, make sure that the link is set to the media file and it will set up the lightbox.
