    Hi Team,

    My client for this site has requested some changes to the image overlay panels on the home page.

    Remove all animations: done.
    Set colours: done.
    Change behaviour for cell phones: done.
    Set font sizes for smaller screens: done.

    Please could you help with these remaining actions:
    Set title to sit on base of image.
    Set title background to extend full width of image. (Example attached).

    Login to follow.

    Many thanks,
    Phil.

    Thanks Ben and Hannah,

    Re: sticky cart on mobile – no thanks. Just trying to make the cart accessible when on mobile, rather than have to scroll waaaaay down to the bottom of the product list.
    Re: using woocommerce_cart – thanks, didn’t know that.
    Re: mini-cart – I think that’s what I’m using in the sidebar. I don’t see a way to load it as a shortcode or a block in the content. That would be a great solution.

    Re: CSS solution – just the job, many thanks, Ben.

    I’d like to disable the reverse on two pages. I thought the modification would look like this but it doesn’t work. Please could you help?

    @media (max-width: 990px){
        #content > .row:not(body.testimonials #content > .row, body.contact #content > .row) {
            display: flex;
            flex-direction: column-reverse;
        }

    Very many thanks,
    Phil.

    Hey,
    On mobile, are you wanting the cart to be sticky? I’m a little unsure how you are wanting it to work?

    Also while I don’t recommend this a simple way to make the sidebar above the content is with this css:

    @media (max-width: 767px){
        #content > .row {
            display: flex;
            flex-direction: column-reverse;
        }
    }

    You can’t (will break things) and shouldn’t (will break things) add [woocommerce_cart] to other pages then the cart page. There is a mini cart widget that you can add.

    Thought I’d try a different approach. Added the shortcode [woocommerce_cart] above the list of products with the intent of hiding it with a media-query on larger screenwidths. Then you benefit from the sidebar version until the screen gets small, then the shortcode version shows the cart above the product list.

    However, as soon as you add that shortcode, the page content goes to 100% and you lose the sidebar. Very strange. Is this an incompatibility with WooCommerce or am I doing something wrong?

    Many thanks,
    Phil.

    You would just need to set a max-width. Like this:

    .page-id-4768 #kad-banner #logo img {
        max-width: 180px;
    }

    From Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images you have your product image width set to 600px. Decrease this to something like 200 and it will decrease the height of your product images.
    In Theme Options > Product Settings you had the sidebar default turned on. I turned this off and the sidebar is no longer showing on your product pages.
    Hope that helps!

    Hi Kadence community. We have been working with Kadence themes for years now. Everything ok with Virtue Premium, but last year we purchased Ascend premium for our site. And I cannot make full width home page slider. Also tried with kadence slider pro and it doesn’t go. I’ve checked full width slider in kadence slider menu, but it doesn’t work. Our site: . Kindly ask for any solution.

    How to change image widget and height in single product page and also how to hide sidebar in single product page and shop page.

    I tried Theme setting >> shop setting >> Product Image Sizes >> and “off” Product Image Aspect Ratio on product Page

    then try width setting in appearance >> woocommerce >> Product Images >> Main image width

    and final woocxtras >> product gallary >> Product image width

    but nothing works.

    and for sidebar i tried every possible solution.
    and using this css also
    .main-container {width:100%;max-width:100%} #page, .container {width:100%}

    I just updated wordpress, plugins and the pinnacle theme to make sure they are the latest versions, but i just cant get pinnacle premium & mosaic gallery images to display correctly some of the images are distorted

    if i use the shortcode [gallery type="mosaic" link="file" caption="false" masonry="false" width="" height="" ids="8535,8536,8539,8540,8541,8542,8543,8544,8545,8546,8547,8548,8549,8550,8551,8553,8554,8555,8556,8557,8558,8559,8560,8561,8562,8563,8564,8565,8566,8567,8568,8569,8570,8571"]

    and put this in the editor as text, or visual or even in a pagebuilder row it makes no difference

    at the moment im using the pinnacle gallery widget

    Thank you Ben – I read the link you provided.

    Parallax should also only display the image once, correct? I’m seeing tiled images, full width but repeating vertically (top and bottom) for many of my full width parallax containers, which to me does not make sense. The ratio of most of my images is 2:3 (height/width). I see your recommended size is 2000px x 1200px. 2:3 is a little bit taller. And still, Position: Center Center doesn’t seem to be applying property. Do you mind taking a look again? http://www.kellyheckphotography.com.php72-4.lan3-1.websitetestlink.com/corporate-photography/ is one page you can see, any other portfolio page will have multiple of the same, and nearly every page has a parallax image full width before the footer. Again, some are displaying OK, but about 1/3 to 1/2 are not.

    And I agree with you that not every picture, especially with people or a specific focal point, is going to work in this application. I just need the Position: Center Center to be working, and the tiling to go away so I can determine which images to place in those positions.

    I went ahead and tried setting the Page attributes/template to “full width” and it solved the problem. The thing I’m worried about is why all the other identical pages work (with the default page settings) and not this one, and also like I mentioned, if I rename my problem page to something else, it’s fine. I’m paranoid now that leaving it unsolved will come back and bite me in the a$$! 😉

    #225223

    Currently all the pages are set to Page attributes/ Default template and in the Page options at the bottom, display sidebar is off, and page content is set to default. All the pages are working like this apart from my problem one.

    So do you mean the “Page attributes/template should be set to “Full width”?

    #225220

    Looks like that is coming from the sidebar. In the settings for the page, make sure you’re selecting the “fullwidth” template, and not the “sidebar” template.

    Does that make a difference?

    Me again, sorry :s
    Is it possible to increase the secondary menu width so it expands wider on the page? Not quite full width but enough so more items can be added to menu on a single line.

    Thank you

    Hi guys, I’m getting frustrated with the parallax positioning and resulting display. I am using several in Full Width Stretched (I’ve also tried “Full Width”) “Ascend: Call to Action” elements. Every time I change one of these from their current Background Image Position (say Center Center) to Center Top or Center Bottom to try and make the most important part of the photo more visible, it shows the edges of the image and repeats the image. If I try to change it back to Center Center, for example, it’s still displayed weird or doesn’t change at all, like it is “stuck”. Or maybe I’m not using the ideal image ratio size?? Not sure how to explain this any better, or even if you will see what I am seeing – it seems to change with the display width. I imagine it is user error, and I was wondering if you have any reference I can learn from to try and get a better handle on how parallax works, or if you see I’m doing something wrong.

    I’m struggling in more places on my website than this, but if you scroll through this webpage you will see 6 parallax full-width sections – some or many of which are misbehaving at full width, others at reduced widths.

    Hmm, try this CSS and let me know if it works for you:

    @media (min-width: 992px) {
    div#content, div#pageheader .container {
    max-width: 740px !important;
    }

    Hi Kevin,

    I’ve actually decided to keep the existing page width for the time being so it’s difficult to show you directly. Basically, everything shrunk to 720px with the exception of breadcrumbs and header titles so it was only noticeable if someone was searching the page or browsing a category/tag.

    Thank you so much for all your help!

    Cheers,

    Mark

    Thanks Kevin,
    The site is DamnRoofer.com ,

    It started when I wanted a blank Home page with only content. No knowing any better, I just used the template as “Landing page – no header”. Everything worked fine. I decided to change it back to a normal Home with header/footer. So, I just modified the page to use the template “FullWidth”. It did not work. Now, even if I make a simple page that looks correct as a “NOT static home”, when I change it to be the static Home, the headers disappear. Almost as though I have somehow corrupted the standard settings for a page when set to static Home.

    #225038

    I had used a “Landing Page – No Header” template for my Static home page. It worked great. But now I want a standard FullWidth home page. Once I set any page to be the static Home page, it reverts to No Header / Footer.
    Using the latest Virtue Premium / WP, as of today.
