    Hi Hanna!

    Yes it is working there. I used it to create some other pages for the site. Anyways, after you answered i tried it again and surprise, it is working now in the homepage…

    Yesterday when i used an other solution for my purpose (because the layout builder wasnt working in the home widget area) i edited the “home page” and i add some content (the one i wanted add using the builder…) and now, when i tried the layout builder it worked fine in the home widget area… is it possible that it doesnt works if the home page is “empty”? maybe a bug? because i would say it is the only thing i changed from this 2 past days…

    regards

    Hello Hannah,

    Thank for your reply.
    I did as you said to me, but nothing has changed as wished.

    The image background does not display according all its width and its height (the image covers the text content only)
    And to the header background to transparent in Theme Options > Advanced Styling does not work. The menu is always with a white background, instead of my image background…

    Greetings,

    I’m new to Pinnacle Premium and have most of my site is built. Just created the first blog post but it’s displaying twice on my blog page (using the shortcode to display posts by date):

    I’ve already deleted the default/demo post (Hello World) and only the one new post is listed when I click on Posts>All Posts in the Admin screen. I’m not sure what I’ve done, so any guidance is appreciated.

    Cheers!

    Hey Jos,
    Are you able to post a link to your site?

    Thanks Ben for your time and effort i really appreciate it, i was running my site on php 5.5 and they downgraded here is what they said:

    Hello,
    I was able to duplciate the error message that you have reported when I access your website at https://www.keysteez.pk . It appears to be your application requires PDO with the mysqli. I could see that PHP version is set to 5.5 is set for your account. The PDO with PHP version 5.5 will not work. We are aware of the issue and already placed the bug report for this.

    Currently, I have updated the PHP version to 5.3 for your account. Now, your website at https://www.keysteez.pk is working without any issues. Please clear the browser cache and check whether you are able to access the website fine.

    If you have any further questions, please update the Support Console.

    and about that plugin error they have i guess refreshed database or something which reset few plugins i’ll fix them too, now coming back to error i have disabled few plugins (All In One WP Security,W3 Total Cache and Cloudflare) after which error has come to very minimum but the load time has increased a lot too. This is the best plan for wordpress ipage has got.

    So what do you suggest changing the host will resolve the issue ?

    Hello,

    Sorry for my question but I have all tried in Advanded Styling or with Page builder, without success…
    I would like to display on my website (here: an image background but this image should be :
    – entire displayed (currently, all the width is displayed, but not the height)
    – responsive (it is working concerning to its width)
    – behind the header menu AND the content page…

    Thank for your help, because I do not understand how to do that. I am really sorry.

    I don’t believe so as I tried the issue with both my desktop and laptop. My website, Waterdancerphotos.com never had this issue before. I just noticed it as I was creating the new website last week and saw the loading issues. Then I checked waterdancerphotos.com and saw the same issues were happening there. So it’s something that just started.

    So I don’t think it’s an HD issue. Could it be the ewww optimizer?

    Hi Ben,

    It seems random to me. I’ll leave the office around 5pm and when I come in the next day, it’s reset again. I’ve asked the sysadmin to set the max_input_vars to 10,000 (and it is now that) so am hopeful that resolves the issue. The reset happens on every site (even the ones where I am the only user) so I don’t believe another user is doing this (although it’s always possible). The menu item is hidden from view as a submenu and does not show up in the customizer either. Of course, it’s not super hard to find. 🙂

    Thank you for walking me through some troubleshooting. I’ll report back tomorrow as it seems to do this approximately every 24 hours.

    Isn’t that the main function of the breadcrumbs, to show the you the path you came from? I agree that it’s not good to make it with cookies, but I think that this should not be working the way it is now. Also, I have made this functionality on my site, it’s not the best way it could be made, but for me it’s working. I’m displaying a button in my posts, with data set, according to the category page from where the user is coming. I make this possible as I grab the referrer url and parse. I think this functionality will be working here too.

    Your host is really slow… yikes.

    Ok first thing I suggest is updating your php woocommerce highly recommend it if your going to use there plugin and your using 5.3 so get up at least to 5.4 but I would suggest 5.6

    You have a plugin that is erroring because your server doens’t have : allow_url_fopen You should fix that with your host.

    In your wp-config.php file you should add:
    define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '5012M' );

    Aside from some really long load times I’m not seeing any site can’t be reached errors.

    Hey,
    Breadcrumbs are not set based on how you reach the post. That would require cookies placed in the user’s browser to track their activity on your site and automate a breadcrumb that followed that tracking. I’m not aware of any plugin that does this and I would strongly suggest not doing it anyway.

    For each post there should be a main category (which would be the deepest category) and that is what would be placed as your breadcrumb.

    Topic: Update theme

    #94533

    Hello,

    I have created a new website where I have copied my Premium Pinnacle theme (old version : 1.4.1). When I go to the back office of the news site, there is no Pinnacle theme update. However, the lastest Pinnacle theme version is 1.6.4 :
    I have checked on others websites, and it is the same thing => there are no Pinnacle version updates. For example here : (version 1.5.2).
    However I have some website with the last version, such as

    How can I force the Pinnacle theme update ?

    Thank for your help,
    Antoine

    #94530

    Yeah, sure. Sorry about that, but my site is in Bulgarian. I hope that would not be a problem.
    I emptied the cache (I use WP Super Cache plugin), but the problem is still there.

    Category AA -> https://stoiigledai.com/blog/category/optimization/optimization-voip/
    Category BB -> https://stoiigledai.com/blog/category/repair/repair-voip/
    Category CC -> https://stoiigledai.com/blog/category/training/training-programs/

    Post -> https://stoiigledai.com/blog/skype/

    (The post breadcrumb is always displaying the “Category CC”)

    #94527

    I’m unable to replicate this issue on my test site. Would it be possible for you to post a link to your site so I can see what’s going on?

    Also, I would try clearing your cache and disabling plugins one by one to see if there may be one conflicting with the theme breadcrumbs.

    Hi Ben,

    Nothing came up in the error logs for the site I mentioned, although another site (not using the theme) did have an error at the same time that I noticed the theme extensions reset. It seems to happen approximately every 24 hours. The error in the log is:

    [Mon May 09 13:25:30.339693 2016] [core:error] [pid 8455] [client 10.96.0.186:56651] AH00124: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace., referer: http://uma.webtech-dev.its.maine.edu/wp-admin/network/plugins.php

    I did ask my sysadmin to set the max_input_vars to 10,000 to see if it resolves the issue. I’ll report back and let you know if we have further issues.

    In regards to hiding the theme extensions, I am simply hiding the menu option. If someone knows the URL to the that page, they could still get to the theme extensions. However, this is happening on each of our installs – even ones where I am the only user and I know that I am not resetting them.

    Thank you for your help so far!!

    #94511

    Who is your host? And what was in the error log? Details really help since this is an issue with your host. There are thousands of sites using this theme and you are welcome to look at the demo this isn’t like a theme issue that’s happening. It’s specific to your site so I need information to help.

    Maybe it would be best if you can send a temp login to the site so I can see your issues.

    Hey,
    1. You have this plugin installed: feedburner-follow-me

    It’s adding some really stupid css.

    *{
    -moz-box-sizing: inherit !important;
    box-sizing:inherit !important;
    }

    That puts an important tag on the box sizing for everyone on the site.. So so stupid.

    If you are going to continue to use that plugin you will need to add this css:

    * {
        -moz-box-sizing: border-box !important;
        box-sizing: border-box !important;
    }

    That will really fix your issues.

    Firebug is the only one I’m using. I viewed the sites in Firefox Safe Mode and still had the issues. Are you seeing the grey on the images on this page?
