I had the website complete and the Blog was added as an afterthought. All of the web pages are, of course, “Pages”. The blog, however, are all “Posts”. When viewing the Blog all the posts are truncated to 80 characters, the max I could set in Blog Options. The person doing the blogging would prefer that the entire post appear, not an excerpt.

As I understood Ben’s suggestion it was to set up a “Page” using the Blog template, and that would solve this problem. However, it appears that we then don’t get some of the other advantages of actual Posts, such as the Archives in the right sidebar. As I said earlier, I an NOT blog savvy so I could clearly be doing something wrong.

Hi Ben can you change the appearance of the “Enable site-wide store notice text” in the top menu bar? I would like the bar to be lack with white writing.

Go for it. The WordPress SEO plugin is perhaps the best you can install on your site, but you need to get the bigger SEO picture, too.

Dear colleagues,
We have the Virthue theme in our website. With the last update 3.6.4, the category of the woocommerce products on our website are not working. We use the qtranslate-X plugin for the translates, but we dont know why the plugin is not working well in some part of the web. In the backend, all the translates are working good, but in the frontend it isn’t. You can see the error in the breadcumbs for example: *Login to see link ks/en/store/activities/climb-on-gran-canaria/climbing-activities/climbing-guide/

Could someone help us with this problem?

Thanks for the quick reply Ben. I was playing around with this just now, but I see some other issues created using this method. Let me qualify this by saying that I am NOT a blog guy so I could well be doing something wrong, but when I try this approach it doesn’t dynamically create and update the Archives like standard blog posts would. Having the blogger on this site use Posts instead of updating a “Blog Page” makes things easier for her, allows her to title each post more simply, etc. Is there a way to do this and show each post in its entirely, not as excerpts? is stripe as simple as paypal to integrate

no, you would need ssl on your site to secure the transaction so it’s more work to set up.

It doesn’t matter with the theme what payment option you want to use.

I do feel that the way the checkout page is set up there may be some people who don’t have paypal and will still be confused that they can pay with the cc to payal without an account

^ that is the number 1 complaint with paypal, they want people to make an account on there site and don’t make it obvious you don’t need one.

I recommend both.

I purchased the premium version of Pinnacle for our main website. We have decided we need to add a subdomain to it, but we want it to look exactly the same. Am I able to use the theme again on the subdomain, or do I need to purchase another version of the premium theme?

I want you on the HOME page product categories (no products in each category) appear and store the page is the same.

for example:

categories: business cards
Products: normal visiting cards, exclusive Business cards ..

because only the categories appear on the cover page and in the store and once you click on that category take me to all products.

The Visual Editor widget is not displaying correctly in the Topbar and I can’t figure out why (I entered some text and images). Also, when I try and upload an image from my media file, it only displays part of the image and not the whole thing. I tried uploading the image again but still run into the same problem (but the weird thing is the image displays correctly when I use the Virtue Image widget). Hey,
If you try to re-save your fonts form Theme Options > Typography is there any change? I’m seeing a couple 400 (Bad Request) errors on your site. I would suggest deacitvating your plugins to test if any are interfering. Let me know if there’s no change.
