    The user asserts they are having this problem on IE 8 and on IE 11. I have requested details (versions) but am not co-located so can’t look over their shoulder to verify.

    Regarding forms and plugins, the site uses the MemberFind.me suite of plugins that enable membership management and user directory, and event calendar, signup and registration. We also use Contact Form 7, and Mailchimp subscription form.

    The URL is http://miramar.org/ and the form that started the controversy is the signup for a trip on the 4th of July, which can be accessed here http://miramar.org/lodge-trips-to-waitsfield-vt/#!event/2016/7/1/july-4th-weekend-3-day-car-trip-to-vermont without logging in.

    Feel free to test it all the way through registration, however PLEASE enter “TESTING ONLY – DISREGARD THIS REGISTRATION” in all comment fields of the Google Registration Form which you will be re-directed to after Signing Up, so we can identify and delete.

    Thanks in advance for your help!

    The theme should be fully compatible with internet explorer 8+. Can you give some more details about how you are adding the data forms to your site?

    Which forms are you specifically referring to? Are they there because of a plugin you’re using?

    A link to your site and a bit more information about what exactly is happening will be extremely helpful in solving this issue.

    Thanks!

    We are being hammered by a hand full of our several hundred members who are not able to access and/or enter data in forms on our site, which has been running the Pinnacle theme since last fall. At first it appeared to be a corporate firewall issue affecting a few users’ workplace computers, however both problems are persisting for some users on IE 11 and possibly IE 8 as well, and there is growing urgency to resolve this or redesign the site using a different theme.

    Can you tell me which browsers, and browser versions, has Pinnacle been tested with and certified “good to go” on, and which browsers/versions are known to cause issues?

    I’ve tried to find this on the spec sheet for the theme but only see “Safari, Firefox, Chrome, E8+” without these very pertinent details.

    Thanks!

    Dear Ben,
    I think there is an Error in Last Virtue Update, with the BLOG posts Feature Image.

    I have 2 websites very similar, one not updated to last version and one updated.
    In the recently updated version of Virtue, the feature Image in BLOG POSTS on top doesn’t show since last update.
    But in the non-updated website it does:

    I check settings and I have in both sites the same:
    VIRTUE SETTINGS -> BLOG OPTIONS -> IMAGE selected for header of POSTS.

    Here you can see the updated website, it doesn’t show the feature image on the header:

    Here you can see the old non-update website, working properly showing the image on the header:

    Thanks!

    Marco

    1. did you talk to the plugin authors as I suggested?

    5. I appreciated your need, I think if you’re in a place of really needing customization that’s beyond your knowledge then probably time to hire a web developer. I already offered all the coding, what’s there you would add into the functions.php file of your child theme. you would add and edit that to your liking but if you don’t understand that it’s not a recipe for success. Anytime you change how something is supposed to work you need to understand it and know how to manage it from here forward. Woocommerce will change in the next year and in the year after that. It falls on you to manage and update that code to work with woocommerce so if you don’t know from the start it’s only going to lead to frustration later.

    NEXT SECTION
    2. What browser is this?
    3. Is your t-shirts category larger then one page? If so you would need to use an ajax filter and filter off attribute from the sidebar since you would need to re-query the category. See here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/yith-woocommerce-ajax-navigation/
    If you only have a page of t-shirts you can turn on the theme non-ajax filter in your theme options > shop settings.
    9. When do you think you will remove the coming soon plugin? That would help trouble shooting why you are having this issue and allow me to query from more then just my computer to see if I can recreate at all.

    10. Correct the footer wouldn’t animate in like your shopping products.

    11. I don’t understand you have a sticky header turned on? You want to leave the topbar off?

    12. See this post about site speed: https://www.kadencewp.com/need-for-speed/

    13. If you want something to automate table code for you then you would need to use a plugin. I recommend tablepress.

    14. The Portfolio grid is a page. You can edit the title and discussion rules for that page by going to pages > all pages then clicking to edit the portfolio page. If you don’t see discussion options make sure to click “screen options” in the top right and turn those on.

    Finally in your theme options > misc settings you have an option to turn off comments for all pages.

    How are you going about adding the image? Are you running into any error notifications in the process?

    The option to add an image to a slide is located just above the slider preview. If you click the button that says “Add Layer,” you’ll have some options for what you would like to add.

    You can also add an image via the Main Background Tab above the slider. The demo site’s sliders use this option.

    Hopefully that helps!

    Hey,
    It isn’t that simple (not that I want to stand behind all woocommerce decision) but say you had a free shipping option and an expedited shipping option you wouldn’t want the expedited option to be removed because the user qualified for the free.

    If you just download the child theme from the child theme blog post and upload that to your site (it’s just like installing any other theme) Then you can send me a login to your site using “Set as private reply” I would be happy to add this for you.

    Hi,

    If I try and upload an image, the media gallery shows only the broken image icon, not the expected thumbnail. If I click to edit the image, it appears as expected, but I cannot use it in the site. Effectively I can upload an image, but it’s broken and I can’t use it.

    I came across this while trying to upload a favicon – it just wouldn’t work – so tried testing with normal images direct to the gallery.

    Hi Ben/Hannah

    I’m having an issue with the API Key being recognised on one of my Virtue Premium sites.
    The other site had no probs with the key, this particular site does.
    I can send a temp login.

    Hi Hannah,

    Sorry to be such a pain, nope not working. Sitting here racking my brains thinking why on earth isnt it working?

    This is the css that yourself and Ben have suggested to me to use

    #kad-feedback-new-post input.full {
        color: #00AC03 1important;
    }

    #kad-feedback-new-post textarea, #kad-feedback-new-post input.full {
        max-width: 100%;
    }

    This is now the only thing holding me back handing this site over to my client.

    Sorry to be such a pain

    Richard

    I downloaded the Yoast SEO, and couldn’t figure out how to add a feature image or change what is there (I can’t find that page), so when i copy and paste my homepage on a facebook status, it still shows that image. I’m guessing you can’t help with that? as its a Yoast issue? It also change my site title bar back to “Virtue theme – demo” and couldn’t change that either. so I ended up deactivating it.

    Is there a way I can attach an image to this message? because i’m probably not explaining it very well 🙁

    I did upload a feature image on my homepage on the right hand side but nothing has changed. When you say “Also you have to wait for sites like facebook to update their cached version of your site” do you mean when clear their cache, so when i try again, it will be updated with my new settings?

    sorry for all this confusing and questions.
    Thanks so much
