Hi Kevin,
Thanks so much for this. Is there anyway how on the front end (i.e on the webiste) how each user can add a testimonial? This is how my site looks at the moment.
Thanks,Richard

April 28, 2016 at 10:34 am #92947It’s not you can use a plugin to set menus based on page… see here: https://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/ce-wp-menu-per-page
But it’s still one site so you would have a logo and all your theme options for the header applying to all.
If you truly want to make two differnet site styles based on this then I suggest creating two sites. Place one in a subdomain and just link between the to.

I don’t know what would be causing that, but my guess is that it has to do with where the plugin is storing its information.
I personally don’t have any experience with qTranslate, but we usually recommend using Polylang or WPML for multilingual sites.
It might be worth asking the plugin developer if they have any insight on this issue.

April 28, 2016 at 10:08 am #92934Hey,
Your site has two feeds, one of the site one for comments. The widget you’re using is showing both. I recomend you just and the feed url using hte theme social widget like your facebook icon: http://smartmusicteacher.com/feed/but you can also add this:
.topclass span.widget-3 p { display: inline-block; padding:1px 6px; } .topclass .virtue_social_widget.clearfix { float: left; }Ben

Page scroll to id is the only “alien” installed – deactivating it didn’t help.
Meantime i deactivated all, except TinyMCE, Kadence slider and Page builder – was afraid specially with Page builder, that it will mess my page.
If you say it’s ok i’ll disable those too. Scroll to ID plugin is temporary back on, since the menu doesn’t function without it.
Websites with Virtue before version 3 don’t have that problem.
I am concerned that you don’t see this, does it help if i record this ?In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Post Name, in blog?
Hi there, I’m trying to post on my blog, and trying to follow the examples from the default, but I’m getting an error.
here’s the site: *Login to see link
when I click on any post, it says:Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.
It looks like this was the result of either:
a mistyped address
an out-of-date linkany ideas? Also, what does /Post%20Name mean?
Thank you!

well thats because I’m using the working child theme. I can’t switch to the other one or i have the code pop up in the header. I can’t have that downtime at the moment I’m afraid. What do you think can be causing it? Should I try to do a manual upload of the theme again? Would that erase what we have already done with the site in terms of customization and uploads or is that all stored in the database?
I was hoping a update of the theme might make it as a fresh start and that would be the easiest way. Is there any updates planned in the near future?

April 27, 2016 at 2:55 pm #92833Hey,
An ipad width in portrait view is 768… so if you’re wanting to target an ipad you need to make sure 768 is where the media query is used if your are using “max-width”.I just took a look at your site and I don’t see the virtue theme being used? I’m not really sure what your asking.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Responsive issues on ipad
Hello,
Currently I’m having issues with imagery, sliders and menus as they appear on an ipad. I’ve gone to the layout settings and changed all the responsive breaks to 767px, but what’s happening is that though the text and widgets and content of most pages gets reset and collapses properly, the flex style menu that works perfectly and is sized correctly on the mobile phone stacks differently on the ipad. The Slider that is set up for mobile does not get used, rather it defaults to the desktop size. There are prompts on the images in the “Resources page” and “members page” that I put in the css to only display on mobile for one (a diff image than the desktop size) and for the other to display on desktop, but here, despite the mobile setting being reset to 767, the ipad is still pulling up the desktop images and not the mobile sized ones that have specific css to be displayed on mobile.How do I proceed? Any and all help is appreciated.

the top bar and footer both have white of the background showing through on the left and right. It’s literally the same width as the scroll bar. This is the way it is displaying with no changes being made to the .topclass.When I put this code in:
@media only screen and (max-device-width: 480px) {
.topclass {
width:100%;
text-align: center;
}
}
It makes no difference. Even when I increased the width to 102%, the left margin had vanished, being covered fully by the top bar, but the right margin remained, even after adding negative values to the “margin-right”. I’ve looked all over, but I can’t seem to find how to get rid of that space. All help would be greatly appreciated. -
