    Hi Ben,

    I am getting a white screen of death after installing WooCommerce Waitlist ( Happens on the shop page and on every *variable* product page, even on ones that are not even sold out. Does only happen on variable products, does not happen for “normal” product pages.

    I use a test system as recommended at So the white screen of death is only on my test system fortunately.

    Findings:

    1. The relevant function is called 3 times (albeit there are only 2 variations). The third time it is called raises the PHP Error then. The below at next posting.
    2. Happens only with Virtue Premium when the option Theme Settings > Shop Settings > virtue_premium-outofstocktag (Show Soldout note) is enabled. Does not happen when this option is not set, does not happen with Virtue Freemium or Storefront.

    Ja it was turned on, at beginning of this thread , both site doing the same thing with header slider I turned it off the other day ..

    No, I used to have zen cache, but I got rid of it because it was clashing with the GoDaddy’s caching that’s on my site via the SSL I added from them.

    Hi Ben, Hannah,

    Our new website is being built under a new name and domain name. Hence, the old domain name has to be redirected to a “landing page” as our old website can be removed.

    I basically want a second home page for the redirected people:
    – topbar
    – header (with slider)
    – menu
    – footer
    – page content

    Scrap my initial question. I realised I don’t want the slider to show, we basically need a full width page without it’s title.
    I did come across asking exactly the same question.

    Here you say:

    Then just add the page id of the page. Does that work for you?
    Can you tell me how I can add a specific page id?

    The method you are linking two has two headers. One that is sticky and visible only when scrolling over the area.. There is javascript that runs this switch. I don’t see either thing on your site? Are you trying for a different method?

    I have had a few complaints about people not realizing the main menu has a dropdown (we have older people visiting our site). Is there a way to add a little arrow icon next to each of the top-level menu items so it’s more clear? And even possibly to sub-menu items?

    Hey,
    1. In terms of a full width slider if you use the Kadence Slider you can set the width to full width and make the ratio remain true to the image if you want but note that the honest.com site isn’t doing that just cahnge the size of yoru screen and you will see that the image is only a background and with many screen sizes the whole image isn’t showing.

    2. In your apperance > menus have you assigned a menu to be mobile?

    3. Adding extra fields would require a child theme, you would be editing the woocommerce registration: https://support.woothemes.com/hc/en-us/articles/203182373-How-to-add-custom-fields-in-user-registration-on-the-My-Account-page

    4. The wordpress profile image is pulled from gravatar based on the email used: https://en.gravatar.com/

    I’m seeing quite a few 404 errors on your site. This usually has to do with missing files. I would first recommend re-saving your permalinks and clearing your cache. If there’s no change I would suggest contacting your host to see if they any insight.

    Nothing in hte html shows that it’s on. Can you make sure your have the latest version of the theme 3.5.8 https://www.kadencewp.com/manually-updating-a-theme/

    Failed to parse SourceMap is not part of the theme. You should make sure to turn off all browser extensions then try deactivating plugins.

    My guess is that leaving it blank wont adversely effect your site noticeably. I would suggest just doing that until other support staff can tell us whether or not that’s best practice.

    Hi,

    I want to modify kt_woocommerce_template_loop_product_thumbnail to pull external images from my affiliate sites.

    Since I do not want to edit any core files, I am trying to accomplih this with a hook.

    To start off i simply copied the entire function from custom-woocommerce.php and added it to my child theme’s functions.php using

    remove_action( ‘woocommerce_before_shop_loop_item_title’, ‘kt_woocommerce_template_loop_product_thumbnail’, 10 );
    add_action( ‘woocommerce_before_shop_loop_item_title’, ‘mk_woocommerce_template_loop_product_thumbnail’, 5 );
    function mk_woocommerce_template_loop_product_thumbnail() {
    …

    Basically it seems to work, but the problem I am facing is that I now have two images in the product category pages above one another. How do I remove/disable the parent theme function placing the image?
