    1.You have images that are not using https. Which is your issue. You need to make sure the site url in your general settings is using ssl and that your database is all set with ssl. Might be good to ask your host about the ssl set up.

    2. It’s best to choose one or the other not have both working normal to redirect to without or with. It’s preference as to what you want to use.

    I was recently presented with a warning:

    “Your theme (Virtue – Premium) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.”

    It turns out that a good many templates were out of date. I followed the update procedure and managed to rectify all but one:

    “virtue_premium/woocommerce/content-product.php version 2.4.0 is out of date. The core version is 2.5.0,”

    When I try to copy content-product.php 2.5.0 from the WooCommerce template folder into Virtue everything goes wrong; the site just goes to pieces. There is a substantial difference in file size. The original file, 2.4.0, is 7413 bytes and the replacement, 2.5.0, is only 2568 bytes.

    Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?

    Thanks.

    Nope no child theme. The sites are very simple. One is just 3 pages. I forwarded your response to the server admin (The site is hosted by my client, they make apps.) and this was his response.

    The file owner absolutely will be different than the site owner…when you create that folder through the web portal it makes IUSR the owner since he was the creator. But the site wasn’t created by IUSR, therefore the owners won’t match and they shouldn’t.

    I’m not sure how to solve the updater issue.

    Hi Ben,
    I was wondering if you have a lazy load plugin to recommend? Since I have a very image heavy site I thought it might improve user experience.

    This works soooo well. Thank you so much for this!!! It solves such a big issue with our subsites. 🙂

    Hey Mitch,

    “An error occurred while updating Virtue – Premium: Could not remove the old theme.” – that is a permissions issue on the server. Just because plguins are updating doesn’t change that it’s a permissions issue. Most likely you have a file or folder that is either using the wrong permissions or that the file owner is different the the php site owner.

    One way to fix this if it’s only in the theme folder (which could have been caused on upload) is to manually remove the folder from inside your ftp account or follow the tutorial above.

    Or just ask your host to run a check to make sure file ownership is all correct throughout the themes folder.

    Hey, URI doesn’t do anything you can ignore that part.

    You should have two folders in your themes folder.

    One for the parent theme “virtue_premium” and one for your child theme (which can be whatever you want). “virtue_child” for example.

    If you just take the child theme example from our site and install as if it was a normal thing that would work for you.

    /*
     Theme Name:   Virtue Premium Child
     Theme URI:    http://localhost:8888/virtue_premium
     Description:  Virtue Premium Child Theme
     Author:       John Doe
     Author URI:   http://localhost:8888/virtue_premium
     Template:     virtue_premium
     Version:      1.0.0
     Tags:         light, dark, two-columns, right-sidebar, responsive-layout
     Text Domain:  virtue-child
    */

    /* Theme customization starts here
    -------------------------------------------------------------- */

    This is what I have in my child theme Style.css and it works fine. I think what you need to do is change the URI’s to your site’s URL and it will work for you.

    give that a try and let me know if that works for you.

    I just left a review on a product on your site and it seems to be behaving normally on my end!
