In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Dropdown menu disappears
1. I am using Safari, and yes i just tried to clear my cache, unfortunately it didn’t fix the problem.
If i go the product site, this one for an example kleinkram24.de/shop/wiki-apus-ll/, and i try to navigate down the dropdown menu, the menu disappears.
But when i use the menu from the frontpage, instead of a product page, it works just fine, and the menu doesn’t disappear when i use it.2. I have another question as well. Dont know if i should open af new thread another time?
My website is getting a little slow. I asked my webhotel, if they had any suggestions to fix this problem. They told me to “use cacheing” to solve the problem. Do you have any recommended plugin or useful tips for, how to use caching, or a suggestion for anything els that would speed up my webshop? Thanks in advantage Hannah.

Ok, so I put the JS into Settings >>> Headers and Footers box. Cleared site and browser cache. Nothing changed. The sidebar still scrolls with the page and doesn’t stay in place.
The JS does break the website, however. With it in the Footer, my Virtue Lightboxes and Tabs no longer work, so I had to delete the script from the Footer Settings box.

March 25, 2016 at 4:34 pm #87788Ok, Yeah your issue is the order by. YOur site isn’t using menu_order. I assume that means you have theme all on the same menu order. So I changed to date and I’ll add an option in the next update so you can make it date for the taxonomy.

March 25, 2016 at 4:24 pm #87784Sticky header is almost exactly the same. That site just as about a 200 pixel delay before it activates.
No that’s not a built in option. But if you know JS you can do it.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Mobile to be split column?
March 25, 2016 at 4:22 pm #87783Hey,
You can’t make mobile “exactly” like computer. It’s not the point of a responsive theme. The theme’s code is responsive to screen size and the layout breaks down as you access on smaller devices. This is for better mobile browsing (no zooming in and out) and it’s also important for mobile SEO. The text doesn’t shrink as you screen breaks down. That is key. I really suggest you consider what’s more valuable in terms of mobile traffic. So can you have two columns on mobile? absolutely. Should you try to make the space on mobile for all your content and a sidebar.. no. really really no.
But If you want to experiment with the code I can let you try and force something like that. (but again this will not look good because text remains the same size as desktop).
In terms of the link you posted? That isn’t a responsive site so simple put. No you can’t do that with a responsive theme. And more then that I would strongly encourage you to look around at articles for how bad that is for your site to not be mobile friendly.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Mobile to be split column?
I was wondering if it is possible to make the mobile version exactly like the computer version? Mening i have two columns when viewing the site on a computer screen, and i would like that on the mobile version. a simple example would be to look like http://www.lovetaza.com
Thanks! Im using virtue but have the premium just havent uploaded it, not sure if that matters? In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Language settings
Hi Guys,
I have just purchased your Virtue Premium Theme and I have encontered the first problem which didn’t exist with Virtue Free Theme.
My website is in 2 languages, english and spanish. When I used the Free Theme in Page / Post Edit I could choose between Visual and Text ways. In both of them I could place english text independently from the spanish one. I have one tab for English and another for Spanish. With the Premium Theme I am using Page Builder since it offers mosaic gallery and other widgets, but it seems like the content I place in the english tab copies to the spanish one. So as a result all my home page content is exactly the same. Check it out for yourself:
http://happyfrogtravels.com/ and http://happyfrogtravels.com/es/
I would like to put one gallery inside the english tab and another one inside the spanish tab, but I don0t know how!!??
I am wondering if your Premium Theme and it’s widgets are compatible with qTranslate-X Plugin that I am using. If that is the case I bought your theme for nothing! I will have to go back to the Free Version.
Please help me resolve this issue.
Thanks,
Milos Mitrovic

In forum: Virtue ThemeSometimes on refresh I get the Virtue logo ‘ghosting’ before my logo shows up. If I know where it is I can delete and that should stop that? I see it is here on your site *Login to see link
But I don’t have that folder.I searched for that file in File Manager and can’t find it either.

March 25, 2016 at 1:00 pm #87697Hey,
Did you miss step 2?Step 2. From inside your site admin, navigate to the Appearance > Themes page and select a different theme to activate. Hover over the theme and click “Activate”.
You have to activate a different theme for you to see a delete button.

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: 3 columns instead of four
Hi,
My site akycha.com is a full width, 4 column website. When I use the blog page, I get 4 columns. When I search a category, I get 4 columns too. But when I do a search (e.g. kerkhof) I get a 3 column grid. Can’t find the cause. Could you help me?
Thanks,

Doug MoxleyIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi
I am very sorry to bother you with this dumb question but I cannot put back a simple PAGE as default Homepage on my site running Woocommerce. Every page I am trying to configure as Homepage give me nothing unless I use the Woocomerce shop page as Homepage. I am sure I am overlooking something but I can’t figure this out… HELP!
In forum: Virtue ThemeThanks Ben. I forgot that the topbar has a widget area indeed. Said that however, after I used it, the drop-down menu integrated very poorly AND it seems that the (BOOSTER) currency switcher slowed down the site to a crawl.
Perhaps it is better to try the Woocommerce Currency Switcher instead.
I saw it is possible to add it directly to the product page, even below to the add now button. Only, I do not yet know how to do this. Not sure if woocommerce accepts shortcodes somewhere in the attributes area or if this is entirely a new section. I saw on a demo page that someone made an info icon and below was the currency switcher button. But again, not sure yet how that was done.
Well, seems I have to do some research here, further.
