I have been searching the forum and just can’t figure out what the issue is. My site pictures sometimes load very slow or gets stuck and other times it works fine. I had a customer that mentioned this also so I know now it isn’t my connection.

Hi Ben,
I would like to widen the second submenu because it’s small and makes to many rows for each item title.
Please, refer to section eBOOKS > Interactive Catalogues > Submenu of my website *Login to see link Because if the list is longer than screen height it doesn’t scroll.
Second Problem the last Menu Item ( in this case LOGIN) doesn’t revert to left part and Item Title overflows the screen so I had to use Wide Menu style.

Hey Ben,
Thank you. Can only the woocommerce plugin ,mentioned by you, realize a category.? That plugin provides too many options for the simple category I want. My background is 8 years Joomla (and 4 weeks WP) and I still think in joomla terms. Categories in joomla is a very simple matter. You create a main category and optionally, if necessary, subcategories (a kind of tree model). Then link the single products (or articles) to the subcategory and the subcategory refers to the main-category. Thats all. That is the structure that I would like. A simple tree. I will not spend too much money (website is not commercial , just for daughter in law) , and I’m happy as approximately 80% coverage of a premium is reached, in this case. So I’m looking for a solution in the possibilities within wordpress, or a free plugin that allows me to create a simple category tree . Would this be possible?

Also, I noticed a second bug:
When accessing my website http://www.travelworldonline.de/traveller or http://www.travelworldonline.de/traveller from my cellphone the content and images on the pages is shown correctly, but when I click on the navigation bars on the top right I get the following message: “Attempt to assign property of non-object … ” and I cannot click through to the linked categories and pages.

Did an update to latest Virtue theme and broke my site (did not upload correctly). Now I have spent the day regenerating my site. Had a backup, so most of the data was recovered.
But, now on the home page (static), the video posts do not have an image. They link to the post page and video is there. So what should I check for? Note this is on development site currently.

Hey,
1. Just parts of the theme and plugins.
2. You don’t link those plugins. all loco translate does it effect the po files those are different from what content you add. You use wpml for all content in the site. The loco translate would be for things that you can’t really edit. For example “leave a replay” is a theme string. If the language your using hasn’t yet been translated then you would need to use loco translate.
3. In both plugins are you the one translating. You have to translate all of your content is WPML. All of the theme and plugins strings can be manually translated in loco.There are services that can translate everything for you but these plugins won’t automate that.

Thanks for replying, after hours upon hours of trying to figure out why yoast would not allow me to generate a sitemap and if i changed anything it would make the shop disappear i stumbled across the answer
1) goto wordpress / theme settings
2) goto to permalinks
3) scroll to the bottom and save changes (without changing anything)Ken

In terms of auto updating ithemes has a sync plugin that lets you control up to 10 sites from one dashboard. That might be something you would like to use.

Hey Guys,
I recently bought WMPL. I set it up so that I can have separate pages for each translation of the content I need.
I then looked into Loco translate and have installed this on my website – which to be honest I can’t see what this does. Is this plugin supposed to be able to translate the entire content on your website or just parts of the theme and plugin? How do you link the loco translation to the wmpl – is there a guide on this because I couldn’t get the two plugins to talk to each other?
After they are linked and I still required to manually translate all the content on pages, posts and media in wmpl? or can loco translation do this as well?
