March 3, 2016 at 6:19 pm #84308Hey,
I just looked and it’s working,You ssl is not green (I think that is because you have the site not point to ssl) But I am able to see the products now.

Thank you so much for taking a look and your help! I just asked my host and they said that their system does not log php errors. I am using Dreamhost and Dreampress for my site. I don’t know what would be wrong with the site set up. I just disabled the plugin that has to do with the ssl on a lot of sections, nothing has changed after deactivating that. I was using it for added site security. I had the exact same set up and everything was working smoothly this morning.
In forum: Virtue ThemeHi, If it makes sense, I like to have a fixed width boxed layout. If I decrease the screen size, I like it to be responsive, down to the mobile level. But if I resize larger, I like that fixed box to keep its width. In any case, the boxed layout should never be larger than a given screen, minus some margins. Not sure your current settings towards larger screens (1,980?) does take care of it.
I think the screen width must be pre-determined with CSS via min- max-width. Anyway, can you please help?
Thanks/Rainer

March 3, 2016 at 5:36 pm #84295OK, I think this has to do with your site url http://escadrille.cc and the fact that your forcing ssl on a lot of sections. I think it’s causing the conflict.
I’m not sure I understand your setup. How come you are not having all traffic load on https and making that your site url?
Also it would be good to eliminate your php error log. If you don’t know where that is your host will.

I am VERY disappointed that this happened. I did not update anything new for this to have happened. I cannot have a website where randomly my products just stop showing up. My hosting service support agent did not see anything on the backend and everything looks normal to me. It’s just the front end that is not loading any pages tied to woocommerce.

My woocommerce has stopped working and I can’t figure out the problem. I am using Kadence theme Virtue premium. Site URL: http://www.escadrille.cc.

Hey
Thanks so much man – yeah the first row I was just playing with to see what each of the widgets do. Thanks o’ve turned off the sidebar – i wouldnt have known this was on from the page.
The one issue I had about the images not showing at the top of each post is now sorted thanks a lot – it was the “Blog Post Summary” settings.
The only other issue i’m not sure how to fix is the font, font size and boldness of the blog title. On the demo page its nice and neat, on my blog the title is large, has a terrible font and isnt bold. Please help?
About the one post – yeah i’m transferring my old, boring and outdated webpage to this new site – so i’m transferring each blog and making it pretty one by one over the next few days. On my old site, some blog posts dated back to 2014 – how do i preserve the blog date when I now re-create these blog posts? I dont see a field anywhere that allows you to set the ‘post date’ anywhere?
Thanks again for your help above

March 3, 2016 at 12:40 pm #84247Hey,
1. The demo you linked two has the sidebar turned off. On your site it’s turned on. So you may want to turn that off it’s an option right in the page below the content area.2. You are using pagebuilder on that page and have a carousel, image widget and a recent posts widget all at the top. If you wanted to look like the demo page above then you wouldn’t need those.
Ok Just wanted to clarify those things.
In terms of your post (you have one thus far).
a. Have you made sure to set a featured image for the post?
b. In your theme options > blog options. Scroll down to the “Blog Post Defaults”
There make sure the “Blog Post Summary Default” is set to portrait image.c. In each post you can manually override that defualt setting and set your own Blog Post Summary for that post. So if you wanted for example a slider or video you would do that in the post.
Let me know if that helps.

March 3, 2016 at 12:03 pm #84232You can increase the padding around your logo and menu if you would like a larger header. Else instead of settings a fixed height you could set a min-height.
.headerclass { min-height: 200px; }But you want to think about this as a responsive site and that header image isn’t going to look like that or work like that on mobile. So it’s something to consider.

Ive set the home page, to a page called welcome. I have set it to full width, and in the reading section I have defined that the home page should be welcome. So why on earth does the content not show up on this page?
Also as you can see I have an issue with the revolution slider this has never happened to any of the other sites I have been using it with.
Sorry to be such a pain.
Hope someone can help me?

Hi,
Looks like your site is in maintenance mode?
You can use a plugin like this to add icons- https://wordpress.org/plugins/svg-vector-icon-plugin/Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Virtue Premium Image Grid
I used maintenance mode plugin, so the users doesn’t see I’m changing website. website is asp-polyana-sochi.ru, but you won’t see the pages =/ Any suggestions on what to edit to change how it looks? Can this be a plugin conflict? Old theme used easy watermark and lightbox gallery, can they interact with new theme? However disabling didn’t help.
I found “masonry” in settings and it was off by the way.

Everything you see within the demo site can be accomplished with the theme without the use of any plugins, excluding the ones that come with the theme.
Would it be possible for you to send a link to your site so that I can take a look at what’s going on?
Thanks,
