    This CSS should get you very close. I know it’s not best practice to use these selectors, but I believe since you’re looking for a sitewide application, this should do the trick. Just copy and paste this into your Theme Options> Advaced Settings> Custom CSS.

    .main.col-lg-9.col-md-8 {
    padding-right: 100px;
    padding-left: 100px;
}

    You can also change the pixel values to whatever you like in order to get it how you want it.

    Hey,

    1. Yes you have to add your own link if your using a custom excerpt. (it’s custom so thats part of giving you control).

    2. There is a blog page format for posts. See here: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/blog/

    You can also use a blog grid see here: http://themes.kadencethemes.com/virtue-premium/blog-grid-three-column/

    ^ That is where the custom excerpt would show as is. So whatever formatting you use for custom will show in either of those formats.

    There is also a separate style option which we added for the home page. That is what you see as “latest posts” in the theme options > home layout. That purely optional. Think of it as an added bonus. You don’t have to use it if you don’t like but it’s there. If you don’t like how it styles the posts then don’t use it.

    So to be clear thats three options.. Blog standard, blog grid, blog full and then apart and more custom from those the latest posts that you see in your home layout options.

    Any one of those styles can be called into a page using a shortcode.

    So since you want use the read more option where you manually tell wordpress where to break in the post by using the read more tag, you need to use the blog full. That style calls for content and not excerpt.

    Here is an example of how we are using the full output in conjunction with the read more tag: https://www.kadencewp.com/blog/

    You can see there that all the formatting is in each post (including an image) till I’ve added the read more tag.

    It sounds like that is the style you want throughout your site (even on the home page).

    So you need to go into your blog page, make sure you have selected the blog page template and set the “display content as” to be full. See here: http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/#blogpage

    Then you need to go into the theme options > home layout. Deactivate “latest posts” and instead move “home widget area” into the enabled area.

    Next go to your apperance > widgets add a text widget to the home widget area and place [kad_blog orderby=date items=4 fullpost="true"] into the text area.

    Hey,
    There will be an update out today that will remove this notice. Note that there isn’t anything updated that will effect your actual site. Woocommerce just updated a class so it’s minor and won’t change how things work or look.

    Hi —

    I can’t seem to get the search to appear in my primary search menu, though it is turned on. This is my website: Is it because I’ve split the menu (with the icon in between)? I’ve made sure to set the number of items on either side of the icon to three, and since I have two menu items, that should leave room for the search. I’ve also tried to go to Appearance –> Widgets, but I don’t have a Header Area there, just a Home Page Area, a Primary Sidebar, and three Footer areas.

    I’m not sure I’m understanding what you’re asking. To be clear, you have changed the name of your home page, but the menu is not showing that change? Would you be able to post a link to the site that you’re working on so I can see what’s happening?

    Hi,

    I’m using a featured projects grid in a footer widget. Is there a way to change the order to random (or menu order) rather than by date? I see the ability to choose a category in the Virtue: Post Grid: widget, but I don’t see an order setting.

    The images used in the Virtue Demo Store are mostly 1200px x 1200px. Across the board though, there really aren’t any sizes that would generally need to be consistent. It really depends on your own application and what works best for you. The Kadence Themes Demo sites should give you a pretty good idea of what sizes work for different parts of the site, but ultimately image sizes will depend on your site’s needs. Higher res images may cause slower load speeds (depending on the quality of your host), but higher res images will display better at various screen sizes.

    What exactly is happening when credit cards are attempted to be processed? Do you get any errors? Does the page time out?     Hello,
    I have a question about carousel gallery on mobile views (I’ve tested the site on smartphone/tablet):
    I created a Carousel Gallery in a page, but touching the images of the gallery, I’ve noticed that appear only the navigation arrows, but the lightbox doesn’t come out.
    The problem doesn’t appear on pc/notebook view.

    Hello there!
    I’m having a weird problem on my site.

    I’ve added a (pagebuilder) row, like I’ve done a million times before.

    To the left of that orange button “Request Information You need” is a virtue-image widget, containing an image. It just won’t appear! I’ve tried different widgets, and different images that are previously used on the site. They will not show up in this row!

    I actually was a similar page builder problem last night; I couldn’t get the fs contact form to show up in a widget on this page. So my work around is to have the max-button link to the page that has the form.

    after updating to woocommerce 2.5.x I get this notice
    Your theme (Pinnacle Premium – Child) contains copies of some of the update template WooCommerce.     Hi Ben,

    I am interested in changing the font for the text above the slider in virtue:gallery. Right now it is set to the font used in the body of the website.

    Without being able to see your site I really am just guessing, but you can try playing around with this css:

}

    You can paste it in your custom css box in Theme Options > Custom CSS.
