Hi,

Can anyone say if virtue premium 3.4.5 is compatible with Woocommerce 2.5.0?
The Woocommerce update says:

2.5.0 is a major update so it is important that you make backups, and ensure themes and extensions are 2.5 compatible. Developers should catch up with the development blog to see what has been happening in core.

But i cant see anything in the change log from the virtue premium website about the major Woocommerce update.

Hey,
No I haven’t had anyone else saying this.

You wrote “with a cell connection? A wifi connection works fine.” – that usually means there is a loading issue. Like the site is taking too long to load and the mobile isn’t getting all the scripts correctly. Are you using caching? I would try to optimize your loading. What plugin are you using for the shop?

What do you mean by “then select desktop site”. With this theme you should be seeing the main site just sized for mobile. There isn’t a separate mobile and desktop.

Hey,
Looks like you still have lato selected somewhere on the sites theme options. Could be related to the logo font. Of the product font. Just go through each page and make sure lato isn’t selected anywhere. Once you do that the theme won’t load any google font.

Hi Kadence. I had some issues regarding my missing icons/widgets. That was resolved by making sure that the urls were the same in admin page and elsewhere (thanks for that tip).

However, since that was fixed, the photos on my home page are now all different sizes, though I have always specified the height and width. I am not sure if these two issues are connected, but thought I would mention it just in case.

Having irregular sized photos has created a huge gap under most of the pictures and the footer as it seems to be making room for the largest photo, which is the last one in the series.

Any idea how to change it so that the photos will be the same size and the home page will look cleaner?

I do use a few icons on my website http://www.vgphotonics.eu
e.g. on site http://www.vgphotonics.eu/contact-us there should be icons above the phone numbers
Also there are icons in the topbar and the footer. Unfortunately they don´t show up on my browser (FF), I can only see some strange symbols. This is not just the case with my browser, other people have also had issues seeing the icons.
However, on your site (kadencethemes) which obviously uses the same icons as I do on mine, I can see them (e.g. the scroll arrow, which doesn´t show up on my page).
I hope you can help me out. Thank you in advance.

Devices have no add blocking, cookies are allowed, Ad tracking is off. The problem does not exist on any other browser installed on these devices, only safari.

The way to make the add to cart work – “continue shopping” or pres and hold the refresh icon in the upper right of your iphone and then select desktop site. I don’t know if this is a JS issue where something isn’t loaded on the first attempt but then works on the second? you can see it here – mydogscool.com

I suspect this latest ios update may have something to do with this problem.

Just curious if anyone has seen this issue.

Yeah I didn’t like the Kadence slider not being responsive. I have used it on another site where the text in front of the image was more important as that is responsive.

You also shouldn’t have index.php that points to the site not being set up correctly. What is your site url in your general settings?

What is your permalink settings. How did you install wordpress?

I’m considering disabling the google font api. The load time is a bit much at 500ms or sometimes more. It’s not alone, I’ve got more stuff loading than need be and just cleaning house right now. The standard fonts are fine.

Can I comment out google api fonts with out breaking anything?

I was hoping that after switching to Arial Helvetica through out the site there would be no need for the google api to run. It still does. How can I disable this?

Hmm….I’m not sure the string translations is what I need.
I’m looking to change the sliders to dutch sliders in that area …. at present even in the dutch version, the english sliders show up.

In theme options, sitewide footer shortcode …there is where I insert the cyclone slider shortcode.
So I’m guessing for the dutch version, I will need maybe a functions.php code in the child theme? …so I can change the sliders to dutch sliders.?
