Hello Ben,

I tried to move JS to footer just to speed my site, but I got some syntax error and slider didn’t work…I know it is logical because slider use also JS, but is there any solution?

I used this code in my function.php

function remove_head_scripts() {

1. In your text widget where your adding the image. Can you make sure auto add paragraphs is not checked. The image is being wrapped so there is paragraph padding.

2. add this css:

.kad-call-sitewide-button-case {

Ok so your seeing 406 when you try to upload then? not on the front of your site?

That usually means a issue with the server settings. See here: http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/error-numbers/406-error

Hello,

I’m not sure anyone here can help me, but I recently hired someone to go in and help with the loading speed on my website pages. Not only is not faster, but now the blog pages are loading funny.

Each page is designed to showcase blogs based on categories and subcategories using the tabs shortcode. Nothing is showing up, and when you click on the tabs the URL changes. Example: *Login to see link will change to *Login to see link

Any thoughts? This “developer” hasn’t been much help… he says it’s working fine from his point of view, but I’ve cleared the cache, restarted my laptop, gone incognito- you name it and nothing!

You would need to work in a child theme: https://www.kadencewp.com/child-themes/

And you would need to create a templates folder and inside that a home folder. Then you copy the two files from above into your child themes new home folder. You work in a code editor program (don’t use wp-editor you will crash the site).

A code editor will tell you the line numbers. Go to each and replace that appropriate lines. Then upload that whole thing to your site as it’s own theme.

Hi there,

Everything’s working fine then poof! – all blog content won’t display. I start getting server error 500 notices for any page related to the blog and blog posts, including the blog page itself, all other pages display fine.

Actions taken: regenerated the .htaccess file, checked the php.ini file was present and had enough memory allocation (128), and systematically went through the plugins enabling them one by one and in different combinations.

The problem seems to be with Page Builder: when it’s deactivated all the blog content displays again.

I’ve left a message with SiteOrigin support but as yet have not heard back from them. Seeing that Page Builder was bundled with Virtue Premium I thought you may have some experience to help with this.

Any ideas?

Is it possible to lock the Header Widget Area to a certain size, for example 120px in Height?

I have placed a Widget SiteOrigin Slider in my Header Widget Area.

I am trying to size images so that the Header Area stays a constant size. It is really difficult to read (elsewhere on the site) when the Slider causes the Header Area to change height and the rest of the screen has to adjust (up or down).

I am finding each image requires different dimensions to keep the Header Area a constant Size. It is a real pain in the rear to keep testing the size of each image for both the desktop and mobile versions.

Is it possible to lock the Header Widget Area to a certain size, for example 120px?

Is it possible to restrict the Widget SiteOrigin Slider to the home page only?

Or should I be using a different Slider?

for a little ammount of products thats no problem. But we have 1500 Products.
