October 22, 2015 at 10:31 am #63991How about a temp login then to your dummy site? If both are set to 20 it’s odd that your excerpts would be different. Are you using custom excerpts in posts?

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Infinite Scrolling Changes Posts Layouts
October 22, 2015 at 9:53 am #63982Hey,
So with infinite scroll it can’t regenerate all the pagebuilder css. (page-builder doesn’t generate css for the whole site it’s on a page by page basis and checked at load. So because you are showing full content thats why the layout isn’t working with infinate scroll.Your best option is to use pagination because of how those to work.
Add this css to remove the slider on all but page 1.
.home.paged .kad_fullslider {display:none;}Css can be added in your theme options > advanced settings.

Both are set to 20.
My site isn’t live (and I believe I’m using a dummy url – since I have a current live site) so I dont think this will work, but you can try this link. I also have a picture if there is a way to send you that.

Hello,
As I explained on my last message, I contacted the host company and they doubled the php.ini settings as you suggested and they did the same with the memory. I just tested and even without adding a page, just trying to save the ENGLISH MENU and still it redirects to the “page not found” error. I also have a copy of that website on a domain I have where I create the websites for my clients and that copy is giving me the same error, hence I have the feeling that the solution might be something else. Could it possibly be related to synchronizing the menus in both languages? I don’t really know how to use that tool, but just brainstorming here and trying to find a solution. I look forward to your response.

October 22, 2015 at 9:18 am #63971Hey,
If your wanting theme to be separate (meaning having a separate checkout page). Then they have to be three different wordpress installs. With three different databases. You can still do this all on one domain using subdomains. But you can’t have a site that shares a database and have three separate sites/shops within it.Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I am having an issue that could be resolved in 2 ways.
I am designing this site: *Login to see link
The homepage displays the latest posts.
The site has a revolution slider placed above the header on the home page. The idea is that people see this slider only once as they go through the site.
If Infinite scrolling is active it changes the layout of the posts when it loads them. The posts it loads all become a one-column layout that affects the design negatively. If I activate pagination, the layout of the posts is respected, but each page displays the slider first, which will be confusing to the visitors as it appears that the page is reloading instead of changing.
I would like to find a way to either have infinite scrolling respect the layout of the posts, or I can activate pagination if I can disable the slider from all the pages except for the landing page, or page number 1.
Thanks in advance!

Ok, if you go to my site, I have four different rows of four pictures each. The first row was from a plugin I found. I absolutely love the look and size and hover of these photos, but it’s not clickable to an outside link. It only offers social media icons, but the point is to navigate to another page so I guess it won’t work.
The second row is where I added them using SiteOrigin Image widgets. I did not see many options even though I tried many things. The first row is how they show up by default. I think they’re really tiny and would like them larger and square. The only way I could get the images a little bigger was to stretch the row itself and I don’t really like the look of that either, but it’s closer. Also, the hover is awful and I didn’t see any options for that.
Thanks for any suggestions!

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
I have just upgraded this website from free to premium theme.
The homepage is showing as ‘not found’ but all other pages are working fine. Homepage shows fine in admin mode – just not when logged out.
I have gone to Permalinks and clicked save. This does not seem to be working.

Can you send me a temp login to your site using: “Set as private reply”
I’ll take a look at your button settings.

October 21, 2015 at 10:02 pm #63910Hey,
Tried the same thing and got the 404 page so I think I know whats happening. It looks like the site is hitting the max input vars limit in your php settings. You need to change that setting in the php.ini file on your server or contact your host and they can walk you through changing that. I suggest at least doubling whatever it is right now.Ben

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Major issues with mobile
Hi Ben,
Trust me I agree 100% with you regarding responsive designs. The clients are older and are used to seeing websites on mobile as they appear on a desktop. I have explained to them in as many different ways I can that the site layout will look different in order to be optimized for mobile viewing.
The coding you gave me fixed the issues; thanks so much! Just one last thing, the site header is on mobile is too large. I tried changing the size of the menu font for mobile in the theme options section but nothing seems to change. Is there somewhere else I need to go to make the site title smaller. I would like “Pacific MidCap Partners” to all be on one line.
Thank you so much!
best,

Hi. When viewed on a mobile, is there a way to have the hamburger on the same line as the site logo?
It feels like the whole site is pushed down too low on a mobile device if a site has top bar, logo and hamburger all stacked and pushing the main page content down too low.

October 21, 2015 at 5:05 pm #63881I just added that function for a test and I got it to work without issue on a test site.
Maybe you can post a login and I can check it out.Ben
