Hi
I’ve got 5 logos in my side bar. 70px width each. I’ve used the sitebuilder widget to create 5 columns – left to right.
On desktop it’s fine.
On mobile, the columns collapse one under the other vertically.
How do I get the 5 columns to stay horizontal on mobile?I’ve also got a mailer lite form in the sidebar that’s not fitting to width.
Pls advise?
ThanksHi,
I have three (3) areas of Pinnacle Theme to ask you about.
1) Part of sidebar widget navigation RESULTS from search does not show full menu for search results. When you click on Hotel Filter Search to select State, from the State, City, Popular Locations navigation menu (selections City, Popular Locations you can not click on for the initial search) do not show up on return to the RESULTS page on desktop but returns for results search on mobile device.
2) Navigation arrows for the page section (Hotels you may also like nearby: SiteOrigin Post Carousel) do not show up for mobile devices but show up for desktop and tablet devices.
3) When you do a search for Hotels you will see a return results page of archive posts with the header page title reading Archives: Hotels. I would like to have the page header title to read Hotels instead. How do I do this? If not, how do I omit header title from page?
Thank You.

In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Problems with Elementor
Hi.
I’m rebuilding my site using Elementor as page builder. Everything is going well until start using Elementor templates for header and/or footer. Templates works great, but it makes other content lost it styles, like the widget “Archives”; now it looks flat, without shadows, colors, or rounded corners. Without using Elementor footer, it looks normally (rounded corners, with colors and shadows).
In this page, using Elementor footer (“Archives” widget, at right side, has lost it style)[and Pinnacle Header has dissapear]:
In this other page, without Elementor Footer, Pinnacle Header stays, and “Archives” widget has it style (with color, rounded corners, etc):
Other problem is with the menus. I think is the same kind of issue; Elementor navigation menus doesn’t get the properties I give them, like background or text color, animation, hover, etc.
In this page, Pinnacle header with colors, hover, etc:
In this page, Elementor header configurated with colors, hovers, backgrounds colors, etc, but not working:
How can I fix this?
Thanks and sorry for my english.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Topbar Widget Causing Navigation Menu to go Haywire
Hi Hannah,
That worked! I actually don’t want it to appear on the topbar, because once I switch it on for mobile, the alignment goes haywire. So I prefer it off. I was wondering if it’s possible to put the cart just to the left of the logo, like how it is on the mobile version of this website https://www.edithpatisserie.com/.
Just to add on, my client mentioned that there is this portion on the Thank You Page that she wants to change the text of, (the highlighted portion here https://drive.google.com/open?id=1tiC3qVxkV9Ht78Lg391mY0MdPi2HRzLi) , not sure if you can view the actual Thank You Page here https://patisserie-cle.com/checkout-2/order-received/1955/?key=wc_order_5c31ac425a557.
She was the one that typed it there, but can’t recall how she did it. And I can’t seem to find it at the backend either. That portion also appears on the email that is generated by woocommerce (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1jx1bZti0Eg8k-2V3UsSvX3kit_X5w1kn), and we have no idea how to edit any of the email contents, even for the Account Created email (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1VEZb0YAVTCJx_JYNcvw7vNst9GDxlZzV), she also mentioned that she definitely didn’t edit any PHP file, and it was done on the wordpress backend.
Do you have any idea where I can find it? I can’t find it under Woocommerce for sure.
In forum: Virtue ThemeHey guys – the automated schema.org/structured data output on blog posts really needs some updating. As someone that does a lot of technical SEO work I can say that there is even a slight possibility that it’s hurting some sites. Either way I wanted to raise it here for someone to correct as it shouldn’t be too hard.
Here are some points:
1) Microdata is used, which validates but is outdated. JSON-LD is preferred.
2) The entire article content is listed in both the “articleBody” and “description” fields. “articleBody” is not needed, and description should be under 110 characters according to the Google Guidelines: *Login to see link
3) The logo and image fields return errors, as they have specific requirementsWould love to see improvements made on this, or some way to temporarily disable the output by perhaps commenting it out of that’s possible.
Thanks

January 5, 2019 at 12:30 pm #212252Hey,
Pinnacle doesn’t have an option for a side menu like ascend.I also would suggest not going that route. Ignoring the real issue will only lead to tons more frustration when you spend all this time trying to remake the site and it won’t be a fix. The issue will reoccur because it’s not a code issue and you will be back in the same place. You need to get with the hosting provider.

January 4, 2019 at 4:44 pm #212215Thanks for your care!
I had the people from Siteground do the migration manually and all is well now.
(Lesson: Automation using plugins is great when it works, when it doesn’t, it can be a small nightmare.
So that’s a hard no from me on robots taking over the world. Should anyone wonder.)Leila

Thank you for the validation! I’m working with my hosting company to do the migration again.
Hope things go well this time, otherwise I will definitely check back with you about your offer to help me complete the migration.
So appreciate your offer and taking the time to have a look at this.
LeilaPS I used their own plugin for the WP migration called siteground migration plugin.

January 3, 2019 at 6:22 pm #212099Hey,
It looks like the migration didn’t get a clean database. All your menu items are not connected to pages so there are no links.Sometimes re-spacing your permalinks can resolve some of this but it sounds like you have more problems then any simple fix.
I suggest you remove everything on your new site and start a new migration and place in new database.
I’m not sure what tool you are using but I suggest using this free option: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
If this is not possible for you to complete and you don’t have decent hosting support you can send me a login to your server and WordPress and I can run the migration for you it’s pretty straightforward once you’ve done a couple hundred 🙂

In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Migration broke something
January 3, 2019 at 5:10 pm #212096Hi team
I hope you can help with this one…
I migrated this site to this space, and all content came along just fine except the home page.
The menu’s aren’t working (can’t click on them) and the Pagebuilder seems to be broken.
I recreated the main menu, and it’s still not clickable.
I tried creating a menu through the live editor as well as the dashboard menu for menu’s in WP.When I edit the page that serves as home page with pagebuilder, the page builder tab is there but not ‘active’.
When I click on the pagebuilder tab, it asks me to switch to pagebuilder view, I say yes, it saves, but doesn’t show anything different, and when I go back to edit the page, the pagebuilder tab isn’t active again… seems like it’s not saving the pagebuilder on the home page. Pagebuilder works on other pages though…So, not sure what broke during the migration… not consistent.
Been surfing the net for options and decided to check if you have any idea where to look..?
Thanks in advance for your advice.Leila
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeThank you so much Kevin for taking the time to respond to my cry for help.
I used the
#kad-banner {
border-bottom: none;
}as you suggested. It eliminated the border line on my desktop.
When I looked at the site on my mobile, the line still appears when I use Google Chrome, but it does not appear when I use Firefox. When I was using Google Chrome, I hit the three buttons in the upper right hand corner and selected setting–> privacy –> clear browsing data and selected the following: Cached images and files, and Cookies and site data. I did that several times. The border line still appears in Google Chrome.
I did try adjusting the background sizing of the image in Theme Options> Home Slider. It did not work.
I copied the source code from my page and located the following for the page header
<div id=”pageheader” class=”titleclass home-title-class ” style=”background: url
(http://mystudentlink.net/practicewebsite/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/homepage-background-800
-width-2.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: cover; background-position:
center top; background-attachment: ;”>
I tried using the following CSS media query code to cause the background to fully resize for a mobile device:
@media only screen and (max-width: 400px){
#pageheader .titleclass .home-title-class{
background-size: auto 100%;
}
}It did not work.
Am I missing something in the code?
Please let me know.
I again sincerely thank you for responding to my inquiry.
Thank you Kevin.
Sincerely,
Joshua Davis
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello you all, (First a happy New Year to all the team )
I have an issue on my site and hope that I’ll be clear in my explanation.
I’ve created some portfolio tags with the name of a country and as a “child tags” the name of cities.
Ex: Cinque Terre and under Porto Venere, Corniglia, Vernazza etc…
See here : Cinque Terre
or here : Mauritius
When am on a page (portfolio grid template) I can see only the country tags I’ve configured (that’s fine) but on the top right of the page there is a grid icon which when clicked on, just show all the portfolios of my whole site and not only the country selected.How can I configure the icon grid to show only portfolio of a selected country ?
I have 3 countries (Italy, Mauritius and Greece) and I don’t want to see Italy’s portfolio on the Mauritius page .Thanks for helping.
GerardIn forum: Ascend ThemeJanuary 3, 2019 at 8:41 am #212076Thanks for the feedback. I’ve pressed the restore revision option. The images were part of the Post.
It looks like the images /grid is still there as I can see the code but I don’t want to make a booboo so I’ll rather ask first.I’ve read the following on a wordpress.com site
‘Clicking the Load button loads the selected revision into the editor. In order for the changes to persist, they need to be saved.’I can’t see a LOAD button on my revision page?
see below some of the codings I’ve copied that bring me under the impression that the gallery with Images is still there
