Hi Ben,

I agree its a weird one but thanks for the reassurance.

The added widgets are:

1. Custom Menu Wizard
2. Site Origin Button
3. Mailchimp Sign-up Form
4. Recent Posts

This group doesn’t correspond to any particular sidebar and appear to have been selected at random – unless there is some other selection mechanism going on.

I like Helen’s suggestion of deleting the additional widgets. Do you need access to have a look before I do that?

Thanks Helen. No problem with that fix but I didn’t want to “destroy evidence”!
I’ll go ahead with that on one of the affected sites and confirm it’s OK.

Hey,
I suggest you wait until you are further along and have your site more cleaned up. It looks as though you imported demo content and are working from there. Which means you had pages imported into your site that are now removed. The crawler is likely picking up a link to this page and now it doesn’t exist. So once you get your site done there won’t be any old links to the page and the crawler will then not try to access it.

The CSS that I gave you will effect only the info boxes that are within that certain page builder row. I made it a bit more specific so that you can control the boxes above in the row with the 911 in the background separately.

If you cant the CSS to effect all info boxes on the site, remove the page builder ID and add the CSS like this:

.kad-info-box {
    min-height: 265px !important;
}

Since the woocommerce update, category boxes are treated the same as products which is very frustrating.
I use category boxes to navigate the website to the different subcategories. Are you able to advise how I can at least make the category boxes line up with the product boxes please?

I would like the top border of the category boxes to line up with the product boxes. Is this possible please?

Hi Hannah. the menu thing is a bit weird as it seems to be OK now…..hhhmmm. The slider issue (which to be fair is more important) has always had this issue with this site. It’s not happened one any other site I’ve done (using the same plugins etc) so I’m a bit flummoxed by this. Any ideas why this would be happening Hannah?

Hi guys, I have a row with 4 Ascend Info Boxes with various amounts of text. This causes them to have different heights on the page which looks a bit pants. I have made them the same height by adding the <br> tag but this seems a terrible solution to me. I have also tried the Equal Column Heights plugin but it doesn’t appear to be working with these info boxes (yet it does with some further up the page!!)

I just upgraded a live site to Kadence Virtue 4.6.7 and I spotted additional copies of widgets appearing in the sidebars. If I compare with the Dev site, (which has not been upgraded), the sidebars look correct.

I wondered if the theme upgrade or something else entirely is responsible?

Hi, I’ve been having 500 error issues with my website lately. I have been contacting my web host and they cannot find any problems. They told me to check my permalinks, but when I go into the wordpress dashboard and go to settings > permalinks it loads and turns into a blank white page. Is there any way to get in there to open this?

For instance, if you hover the mouse on Shop Categories, you cannot hover over living room and then click sectionals anymore. How do I fix this? I don’t want them all opening at the same time, but only when you hover over that selected category.

That is your server login, I was asking for your site login. But it’s fine, I managed to login through the server then through that to the site.

When I view your site I’m seeing different menu items than what is shown in your screenshot. And the vertical line is showing as it should. It also looks like you’ve set the menu width to 80% rather than 100%. Is that what you’re wanting?

Hello Ben,

1. How could we troubleshoot the tax situation together? Is there a safe way to provide site credentials in order to solve the tax configuration?

2. I would like to add custom icons to our menu. Let’s say I would like to add “Font awesome” icons over the menu links. Like in the menu button where it says “SELECT” I would like to add the following icon: https://fontawesome.com/icons/wine-glass-alt?style=solid . As well as in the https://winenext.com/producers/ the Martini icon would be the Font Awesome wine glass icon.

3. URL: https://winenext.com/portfolio/cast-wines/ . How do I get rid of the margin between the parallax image and the header? How do I make the product widget only show CAST WINE product previews in the right column. How to make the Cast Wines Thumbnail bigger? Let’s say we want to cover the whole gap space.
