1. In the demo site, “Feature first item:” is set to TRUE within the recent post widget. This will show the featured image of the most recent post in the category.
2. The transition between page builder rows is using the row separator. Take a look at this tutorial and let me know if it’s useful for you:

In forum: Ascend ThemeHello,
Just to clarify, neither of those sites are using a child theme, they are both configured within the constraints of the default theme. So you can accomplish this on any site with Ascend!
The blog area is configured using page builder in the home page content. It’s set to show 3 columns, each column containing a Ascend: Recent Posts Widget. Each column is set to show only posts of a certain category.
The call to action is also added in page builder, using a fullwidth row with one column.
Here’s more information on the page builder plugin:

Hi Caroline,
There isn’t a built-in function to set the number of columns for that widget. It will fit into the area that it is added. If you’re wanting more control I would recommend using a shortcode like this:[portfolio_posts orderby=date excerpt=false columns=4 items=16 height=200 lightbox=true showtypes=true cat=photos]
As for your second question, I will talk with the developer and be back with you soon!Hannah

In forum: Ascend ThemeApril 17, 2019 at 11:51 am #223270Hey,
Can you check to see if each post has a featured image set? Can you check in the widget to make sure you have not limited to a specific category.Ben

Hello,
You can control the content of your topbar by enabling the widget area in it. You can do so in Theme Options> Topbar Settings, and setting “Enable widget area in right of Topbar?” to ON.
Then navigate to appearance> widgets to add your content.
Does that work for you?

Footer 3 section – there are several blog posts but only one appears in the footer?
How do I fix this?In forum: Membership ForumsIn reply to: Terms and conditions page.
AnonymousApril 17, 2019 at 5:05 am #223238Hi,
i use the widget “Checkout: Payment”. This outputs the Payment form for checkout.
The link ” Geschäftsbedingungen” displays a page (terms and conditions) – but it looks different and awful. How can i change this page –> another page, not content? Follow links above.
Possible is a link, which opens an new tab or window – similar to the link “Datenschutzerklärung”.

In forum: Ascend ThemeHi, I would like to add a pagebuilder row beneath the testimonial grid.
Here’s the link:
*Login to see linkSo just above the bottom widget area and below the testimonials, I need to place a logo with a link.
Is there a way to add stuff beneath the grid?
Thanks

Odd, is the widget area you want at the left at the very top, like in this photo?:

For some reason the Home Extras Widget Area appears to the right of the logo jammed up against Home Extras Widget Area (Second). https://wisconsin-websites.com/beejoyful/
