OK, this is quite the hack. Try adding this to your custom css box in theme options:

Hi,
That settting is designed to look for a widget (widget class).

You would need to add the class widget to the last top level block in your custom sidebar and then it would work.

Hi, I’m using the Virtue Testimonial Carousel in the Home Widget Area. I want to get rid of the heading ‘Testimonials’appearing as a H3 heading above the carousel. I haven’t added heading text into the widget setup & have tried both of the following css in Theme Options>Advanced settings:

}

}

Could you please provide alternative css I can use which will remove the heading?

Your office would be great. I’ve uploaded 4 images into a Ascend Gallery Slider in the Header Widget area, and gave them names that correspond to the page on which they should appear; cosmetics-image.jpg, cest-hello-image.jpg, etc. I hope this is what you meant but I’ll do whatever it is you need to make this easy on you. To that end, here’s a little chart:

Hi,
Thanks for reaching out! I don’t believe there is a built-in way to do this. With the premium version you could add a search block to the off canvas widget area. Though I don’t know of a way to make this work using the free version. Sorry!

Thanks for looking into this for me. Unfortunately, you apparently tested the one property of the row settings that actually works…changing the number of columns at the top.

HOWEVER, while number of columns, adding/removing widgets, and general content changes do work fine, what does NOT work are any changes made to the Row Styles (on the right) such as Layout. For example, if I change the value of the Bottom Margin, Row Layout (Standard, Full Width, etc.), Cell Vertical Alignment, and/or others in that area, the changes are lost as soon as I click the Done button to close the row editor. (If you click right back into the row settings, the changes are gone. It’s not being lost upon a Save of the whole page, rather as soon as you leave the row editor.)

FYI: I usually use FireFox, but I also tested this in Chrome just a few minutes ago and the behavior is exactly the same.

Please check again (based on the new, detailed info provided in this reply) and let me know!

That worked great Hannah, so now I have the option of doing a slideshow in this spot and

I hope this isn’t bad form, but I had another ticket open asking about using conditional CSS, either in the Custom CSS box or the Widget Attributes field to display a unique image on each page. That, I believe, is my client’s preference, so is there any possibility of that? If not I’ll simply explain that this is what we can do.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I experienced this issue on one of my sites, so just to make sure that it was not one of my other plugins, I created a local test site using https://localwp.com/ software.

I only installed Kadence plugins and nothing else. WP version is the latest and php version is 7.35.

To recreate the issue, I did the following:
1) Created a page titled “Test Page”
2) Created an element to replace the sidebar on “Test Page”.
3) In Customize >> General >> Sidebar I toggled on Enable Stick Sidebar and Only Stick Last Widget.
4) When viewing my “Test Page” the last widget is not sticky.
5) When I view the “Sample Page” the last widget I set up for this page’s sidebar is sticky.

Hi Mike,
I’m not sure why that is outputting in the header and not elsewhere. You can hide it with css like this:

.menu-widget-area-kt ul.slick-dots {
    display: none !important;
}

Hi Svein,
Apologies for the delay! There is a toggle widget area (trigger option) within the header, though there isn’t a way to make this open to a mega menu. A workaround would be to use a mega menu block (such as this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/getwid-megamenu/) and add that to the toggle widget area (Customize > Header).

Hello All!

I have a site that’s been running nicely on Virtue for years now with the page layouts all setup in SiteOrigin Page Builder, but now since the last WP update, I cannot save any changes to the row properties of my SiteOrigin rows on any page. I’m totally stuck!

I can add widgets to the rows and save content changes within the widgets, but the row properties themselves are just “stuck” at whatever settings they were last using. (These changes are not only getting lost upon saving the page, they are lost as soon as I leave the row editor – even if I go right back into the row editor, any changes that I made are gone.)

I really need to make some updates to the site ASAP (which requires me to update various row settings on a few pages), but nothing regarding the row sittings will update/save anymore. (I just don’t know how to proceed without rebuilding everything from scratch, which I’d rather not do.)

Please help!

I’m using the Ascend Gallery widget with the slider option in the Header Widget area, but it has an odd thick line appearing beneath it. If I place this same widget elsewhere on the page the line doesn’t appear. Can’t figure out why the Header Widget causes this to happen.

I don’t know if I’m onto something here Hannah or headed down a dead end. Since there are only 4 pages that need a custom image in the Header Widget area I was thinking I could put 4 rows or just a single row with 4 Ascend Image widgets in the Header Widget area, then just display or suppress the widget base don the page ID. I know what my 4 page IDs are, but I’m not sure how to structure my IF THEN ELSE CSS Attributes or even if it’s possible.

For example:

If page ID = 13 then I display the cosmetics page image, all other pages are display: none;

I’ll do this for pages 15, 17, and 19. Is this at all possible? I’m just not sure what variables to be checking or how best to lay out this conditional CSS even if it can be done.

I didn’t realize that Hannah, but I don’t think that will accomplish what I want. If you look at the site I linked you’ll see that on all but the Home and Cosmetics page there is a small oval photo in the upper right corner, courtesy of the Header Widget. I would like this image to be unique on every page. I’ve suppressed this on the Home and Cosmetic page using this code:

}

I was wondering if I could supply a url that points to an image for each page using a similar method. I sure haven’t been able to figure it out if there is!

Hi, Erik!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue.

When I inspect the page, the sidebar content is empty – https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuvQZ45. Double-check in your theme options which sidebar you’re using by default. Then, go to Appearance > Widgets and see if that sidebar has content in it.

I would like to achieve that the prices of the products, on the Shop page as well as on all product widgets, are in the same line.

If the product has a slightly longer name, it will be displayed in two lines, which will automatically lead to the price of that product being one line lower than the product with a shorter name. The same problem with review stars also occurs. If a product has review stars, its price will be displayed one line lower, compared to a product that does not have them. All this leads to the fact that the prices of products that are next to each other are at different heights, which spoils my visual impression.

So I would like to achieve that two lines are always reserved for the product title, then one line reserved for review stars, and then a line for the price of the product. That way, all prices will be in the same line, regardless of other elements.
