1. I’m not able to duplicate this. What device are you viewing from? Have you cleared your cache?

2. I’m seeing it on mobile. Looks like in your screenshot you were using the simple mobile header, but now are not? The simple mobile header overrides your topbar and thus would hide the weglot widget.

I’m looking for a simple way to display a fixed cation over an image. I need to link the image to a page, not a lightbox. I would like to be able to choose the font, background color, opacity and position of the caption overlay. I’ve tried a bunch of things but can’t seem to find the right option!
The Virtue Image widget would be fine if you could help me with the caption styling – a white background about 50% transparent with padding and a small, say 20px up from the bottom of the image.

Thanks for the suggestions – I tried the Virtue Image Menu item widget the image block is too big.. I think what I will just do and move the images from the front page to make room for the new people.. maybe just have a page to list everyone..

Actually I just figured it out using another support post here. I had added a blog post carousel to the homepage. As soon as I deleted that widget, everything went back to normal!

So I wanted to point out that google+ is no longer working and that we are missing spotify from this widget, so it would be great if you could add it!

We have a public playlist on our company’s spotify account, and it would be cool to have it available on the social links – I placed the link on the soundcloud icon, so if you want to check it out….*Login to see link all the way at the bottom.

Hello,

i have a problem with css in ascend-theme. Its not possible to assign css to single pages.
my site: *Login to see link

For instance:
.leistungen h1 { font-size: 20px; } is not working
its working without the post-id but i dont want it everywhere.

And i have running siteorigin pagebuilder on the site and the classes you can assign to the widgets or containers are not working.
When i analyse the page with the developertools in firefox for instance, i cant find the classes assigned to the container and the css-code cant work.
For instance: i assigned a class .leist to the first text-widget at the page Leistungen and wanted to change h1 on mobile, then it has no effect if i write code like .leist h1 {….

Can you help me with that?

Would love a timeline widget that lets me
1) Insert blocks and drag into sequence
2) Ability to add images as well as text
3) Customise colours, texts, fonts, icon, background
4) Customise layout (left / right / centre)
5) Customise height
6) Customise number of items to display before it scrolls within the given space

Thanks very much Ben. I’ve now signed up for membership & am using your bbpress plugin. Also installed ‘bbp style pack’ plugin to help implement some of the style changes I wanted (although the Ascend theme is over-riding some of my chosen options).

The couple of things I haven’t figured out how to change:
1. the search button on the bbp widget (in the header widget area) … button is offset from the search box rather than in line with it. Any way to fix? I’m also fine to just revert to the default bbpress search button (instead of the theme-styled button thats been applied)?
2. the (blue) font colour and (grey) background colour of the header row on the forum index (ie.’Forum’, ‘Topics’, ‘Post’ & ‘Last Post’)

Any help greatly appreciated

You have some css that is conflicting. This should override:

    opacity: 1;
}

I also forgot to ask if theres a way of changing the color of the search box used in the bbpress search widget? As shown on https://forum.eclipseaudio.com/ I’m not sure if the color is determined by bbpress or Ascend, but rather than gray I would like to have it as white with a gray outline.
