February 6, 2024 at 9:26 pm #287437Hi Annett,
Here’s another screencast showing how you can add the Navigation Block into a Widget for the Footer: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4u260z0
I hope this helps.

Thanks for sending a reference URL.
It looks like you are referring to Single Post and that seems to be something like a Recommended/Related Posts section. But when I check the code behind that section, it looks like it is an Elementor widget: https://imghostr.com/060a39_i2t
You would have to check in Elementor and see if that is something you can configure not to show up.

January 19, 2024 at 8:46 am #287152Hi there!
Can you confirm if you have created the menu in Polylang? Check the article: https://polylang.pro/doc/create-menus/
I have checked the legacy widget at my end, the language option is displaying. Check the screenshot: https://share.zight.com/OAuNLN91
As Karla mentioned, if you use Kadence Theme Pro, you can create a different footer using the Hooked Elements feature. You can use an option for specific pages/posts.
Here’s a link to our documentation for your reference – https://www.kadencewp.com/help-center/docs/kadence-theme/how-to-replace-the-footer-using-a-kadence-element/.
This is how I created a footer specifically for Tagalog pages/posts – https://share.zight.com/9Zu4G7O4
If the issue persists, you can also send a support ticket to look closer at this issue.

In forum: Kadence ThemeWhen I go to the Widgets section, every single widget shows the message “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.” I’ve cleared the cache at the site level and at the server level. I’ve logged out and logged back in. Nothing seems to work. Please help!
Thanks!

In forum: Kadence ThemeJanuary 8, 2024 at 6:44 am #286971I have Kadence theme installed. I have set sidebar 1 as the default sidebar for posts and pages. The issue is that the sidebars are not working. Any widget that I add in the sidebars is not showing on the front end.

January 3, 2024 at 8:44 pm #286950Hi there,
Currently, there is no built-in setting/option to enable search on the archive pages.
There is a search widget that you can add in the header that provides the same search functionality. See Video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuekgBK
If you have the Kadence Pro plugin, you can add a Content Element with a WordPress search block Before the Archive Content.
Here’s a screen recording for reference: https://share.getcloudapp.com/GGudXYnk
I hope this helps. If you have further questions, please let us know; we’ll be happy to help.

Hi!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
If you’re using legacy widgets, there should be an available dropdown option for the language display. However, I think you’ll need the pro version if you want to select that for blocks.
Refer to this post – https://polylang.pro/doc/widgets/#block-widget.
I hope this helps, and let us know if we can help you further.
Regards,
KarlaIn forum: Kadence ThemeI’m using Kadence for a multi-language site (using Polylang) but can’t find how to change the widgets in the footer per language.
Ideally, I’d like to have a different footer per language.
I’m also fine with setting up multiple widgets in the footer and somehow displaying them based on the page language.
Any pointers how I can get that to work?
ThanksIn forum: Kadence ThemeDecember 27, 2023 at 3:09 pm #286892Hey Patrick,
Thanks for reaching out. Can you confirm that you are adding the Address by editing one of the Footer Widgets and using a Paragraph Block?
Whenever using WordPress and pressing Enter to add a new Line, it will automatically create a new Paragraph Block. You can fix this by holding Shift and Pressing Enter at the same time to do a Line Break. Then you can put your address line by line and avoid the gap.
Here is a video of this process for reference: Click Here To View The Video
I hope this information was helpful to you. Please let us know if this works for you.

December 26, 2023 at 7:03 am #286870Hi there,
Thanks for the screenshot.
You need to go to the Design tabs of the Off Canvas container and Mobile Navigation widget in the customizer page.
To go to the customizer page: WP Admin > Appearance > Customize.

Hi, @larrian.gillespie!
I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you here.
The topic has been marked as resolved. For new support questions, please create a new topic so we can see it right away.
I don’t have any issues currently on my website – https://share.zight.com/6quXOZgd.
Do you see any console errors while adding any block to your sidebar widget areas? Please take a screenshot and send it to us here if you see any errors.
The issue might be coming from one of your plugins too so please do some of the troubleshooting steps here:

December 20, 2023 at 7:29 am #286814Hi there,
I tried this on my test site, but I was seeing the content inside the Tabs block on the search results page — here’s a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/v1uBo7v1
If you’re using the Kadence theme, the Search widget has a function to search only for products — see screenshot: https://share.zight.com/v1uBo7lx
Kindly check that setting if you’re expecting to see results for other pages as well.
Make sure as well that you don’t have a plugin or custom codes that affect the search function.
If you’d like to see the content inside the Tabs block on the search results page, the Kadence theme has an option in Customizer > Search Results > Excerpt to show full content — see screenshot of the setting: https://share.zight.com/4guWQqxj
Here’s how it looks on the search results page: https://share.zight.com/GGudngNx
Let me know if you need further assistance.

ChitoIn forum: Kadence ThemeIn reply to: Single column for header row?
December 19, 2023 at 1:59 am #286783Hi Christina,
The Kadence theme has a fluid header, and you can use only the column that you need. It automatically adjusts based on the element’s width. For example, if you add only one widget to a header row, it can occupy 100% of the width based on the header layout you choose (Standard, Full Width, or Contained) — see screenshot: https://share.zight.com/z8uBExqe
Here’s a video for reference: https://share.zight.com/E0uJ5bER
Let me know what exactly you are trying to achieve and I will gladly assist further.

ChitoIn forum: Kadence ThemeDecember 19, 2023 at 1:48 am #286781Hi there,
Thanks for the link to your website.
I checked the header and it’s already responsive. Here’s a video: https://share.zight.com/YEuJg1NY
What I only noticed are the following:
* make the mobile hamburger icon more visible by changing the color. Select the Trigger widget on mobile header and go to its Design tab.
* change the slide-out mobile menu background color from black to your brand color. See screenshot of the setting: https://share.zight.com/WnuX2G4eAs for the desktop, some websites put a button on the right side of the header. You could perhaps replace Legal Pages dropdown with a button and link it to a page or section that you want to redirect users — see screenshot: https://share.zight.com/L1uyo7xO
Also, since it’s a TV website, perhaps you can add a topbar notice using the header top row.
Overall, the design of your website depends on your requirements.
If there’s a specific you want/need to achieve, just let me know and I’ll gladly assist further.
Best,

December 17, 2023 at 9:49 pm #286732I just now noticed that no blocks from any plugin can be added in kadence sidebar…so its not just kadence blocks…others as well. The footer widget and others allow for inserting…so the problem is just with the sidebar it seems.
