In forum: Pinnacle ThemeTopic: Using Google font
I successfully chose the Google font ‘Great ‘Vibes on my about me page using Kadence advanced header block:
jillsnotebook.com/about-meHowever on my custom html in my widget named NavSidebar, when I used font-family:’Great Vibes’; the font would not render on the text Jill Masters and also Visual Artist.
jillsnotebook.com
Please advice how to proceed.
Thanks, Jill Masters

In forum: Ascend ThemeHi Ben and Hannah, thanks for the detailed replies!
Ben:
1. That sounds very promising; I’ll try that – thanks!2. Sorry, I added a link earlier without the https:// so it doesn’t show in blue – it’s https://RollieUK.com. It’s a B2B business and both their staff and many of their clients are on non-widescreen desktops, so don’t see the full header but the mobile one. (Same as if I resize my window to a smaller width on my Macbook.)
3. Thanks for that!
Hannah:
1. Great, I’ll check that out too, thanks!2. I’m already using the header extras widget to include a clickable phone number – I don’t have any extra room there anyway, so will focus on trying your and Ben’s suggestions.
3. D’oh, of course – mine was a stupid question! Sorry/thanks! 🙂

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Center logo, menu either side – menus too large
Hi Hannah,
The social media icons would be smaller, to fit them all in – so it would be text/font on one side, and iconset/size on the other. There’d also be more icons then there would be text menu items. If this is too far from what is designed in the theme, that’s fine tho’!
I should say, the social media menu is set up that way (using Font Awesome icons) because the Ascend Social Links don’t include the main music social media platforms – they do include Soundcloud, but not Spotify, Bandcamp, or Deezer. Are there plans to add these, or can I make a feature request for them somewhere? And if not, is there some way I can create or upload icons for those to add them to the Ascend Social Links on my site(s)? That way, I could add them to the header widget area instead of needing a second, custom menu.
Thanks as always for your help!
TracyIn forum: Ascend ThemeHi Ben/Hannah
A client has a problem where the page (built with SiteOrigin builder) has some styling issues since adding some additional testimonials. I have narrowed the issue down to be linked to Gutenberg as if I move any newer testimonials to a different testimonial group the page is fine.
I have now got two versions of the same page. The first displaying the original testimonial group with older testimonials and another showing a new testimonial group with just the recently added testimonials.
1 – *Login to see link
2 – *Login to see linkIt seems to be adding a paragraph at the beginning of each widget which is causing the buttons, heading on hero and rows to all display wrongly.
Any ideas on how to get around it?
Thanks, Billy
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello, I’ve created a page that uses tabs built with “Virtue tabs and accordions” widget.
When someone visits the page, there is a tab that is opened and showing it’s content.
However, the other tabs that are closed might be overlooked for someone that is only skimming, so I want to help them out.
1- How do I change the color of each tab title?
2- How can I have a link on the body content of any tab that leads to another tab content?
I’ll send you the page link in a private message.
Thank you,
F.In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi,
Site in demo, I want to make the Image Menu and Testimonials (set in Home Widget Area) both full width to match the header, call to action and portfolio carousel sections. Should be pretty clear if you scroll down the homepage:
There’s a theme setting for the portfolio carousel to be full width but I can’t see the same for image menu and home widget area, apologies if I’m missing something!
Many thanks
Pete

January 22, 2020 at 1:15 pm #243657Within the category widget there isn’t a way to do that, you can use a menu widget (no collapse support built-in so you would have to add that) but it checks for parent relationships and adds the class to style.

In forum: Ascend ThemeHi,
Subsite Home page: *Login to see link
Working on a subsite of my main site — I’d like the subsite to have its own nav menu. The Elementor Pro nav menu widget seemed like a good way to go for that — no plugins required, no custom code.
Trying to copy the Ascend menu functionality (see the top main site nav menu). Still some tweaking to do, but it’s reasonably close.
EXCEPT: the Elementor submenu settings are being ignored. Mouse over “Campaigns” to see how the dropdown appears — wrong text color, wrong hover text color and background color, no opaque dropdown background. [As contrasted with the About menu in the Ascend nav menu bar.]
I think I proved the Ascend/Elementor conflict by switching to the WP 2020 theme — where the Elementor submenu settings work as expected.
Can you offer any advice? I’m not married to the idea of using the Elementor nav menu widget for subsite navigation if there is another simple way to go that I haven’t considered. The idea is to keep the users on the subsite so they can fully explore it.
Thanks!
Mike
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Customizing Testimonial Display
Hey,
The testimonial widget does not have a function for this, but the testimonials block within Kadence Blocks does! https://www.kadenceblocks.com/testimonial-block/
Have you used the block editor at all?Hannah
