    Topic: Footer widget

    #241585

    Hello Support team!

    I have this website:

    There are 2 footer widgets now:
    line 1: with tags cloud
    line 2: with 3 widget coloumns with phone number, etc..

    My questions:

    – I’d like to have the line 1 footer widget to be sisplayed under the line 2 widget. How I can do that?

    – Is this possible to have these 2 footer widgets different background?

    Thanks for your help in advance,

    BR,
    Anita

    Hi Hannah
    Yes, that menu item is a custom link to a widget at the bottom of the hoe page

    #241534

    Hey Judy,
    Try adding this to your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings:

    @media (min-width: 992px) {
    .widget-1.widget-first.header-widget-area-header.widget_media_image {
        width: 50%;
        float: left;
    }
    .kad-info-box.kad-info-box-98.clearfix {
        float: left;
        margin-top: 10px;
    }
    .widget-2.widget-last.header-widget-area-header.virtue_infobox_widget {
        display: inline-block;
        width: 50%;
        margin-top: 10px;
    }
    }

    Hope that helps!

    Hi

    Is there a way to make the widgets in the header widget area display side by side rather than vertically? We have 2 at the moment and they are taking up half the screen – see jccmw.org

    I think an update rendered some PageBuilder content invisible on my live site. There seems to be an Add to Cart widget missing – getting this message “kwt_product_add_to_cart_widget” but oddly the Add to Page option is showing on products, just not any of the text and other boxes content that should be showing below the Add to Cart option. Any thoughts on what happened or how to resolve it? Thanks, Greg

    I’m not clear what you want, I don’t see a sidebar on your shop page? Where are you wanting this widget to appear?

    Thanks Hanna
    Thanks so much, now I got the order on the virtue carousel.

    At the beginning of this thread I have a desire to get a Widget with categories that Accend theme has.
    I have created a subcategory called — Festinbjudningkort
    parent are Festkollektioner.
    Can Ben start with this, or do I have to make it completely clear before he does.

    Regards
    Anders

    puedes usar el top-header que se configura en las opciones del tema con un widget y con un poco de css hacerlo mas ancho y cambiar el background

    Hey,
    When switching out of the visual editor we don’t recommend switching back. Your visual editor content will transfer to a text widget or block. As far as which editor you use, it really comes down to preference. The visual and classic editors are very basic and don’t allow for much customizability. Elementor and Kadence Blocks will allow you to create beautiful page layouts with animations and other features. Kadence Blocks is great in that it is a page builder that is fully integrated into the Gutenberg editor. Plus it is feature heavy and comes with demo content that you can add into any page. You can find out more about kadence blocks and it’s features here: https://www.kadenceblocks.com/custom-blocks/
    Hope that’s helpful!

    You could display your portfolio posts via shortcode like this:
    [portfolio_posts orderby=date style="pgrid" columns=4 items=80 ratio="square" lightbox=true showtypes=true]
    Just paste that into a text widget within your home widget area (appearance > widgets). And make sure your home widget area is enabled in Theme Options > Home Layout.

    Gotcha. I’m seeing the images on mobile. Have you cleared your cache?
    This will left align your title text:

    div#pg-31-6 .siteorigin-widget-tinymce.textwidget p {
        text-align: left !important;
    }

    #241269

    If you’re using site origin you can create a row, then set your image as the background of that row. Then you can add a text widget (or any widget) into that row.
    Hope that helps!

    Hannah,

    Here is the new thread. Sorry about the time delay in Belgium/The Netherlands.

    Kadence Woocommerce Elementor Pro was added tot the plugins, we don’t know why. It’s is turned off. But when turned on is doesn’t change.
    Original Kadence WooCommerce SiteOrigin Builder doesn’t show-up on WP plugin page. In ftp it’s still there but I’m afraid to do something and then loose about 30-40 templates we build. Don’t know where they are stored under….

    It concerns two seperate websites with same problem

    Hi dbvakgroep,
    Are you seeing the Kadence WooCommerce SiteOrigin Builder in your list of plugins? What version is running? If you’d like you can send us login info and we can look into this for you. Just start a new thread, as this one has already been marked as resolved.

    Same here,
    Missing Woo Template Plugin. After some routine updates.
    As mentioned above downloaded the new one: Kadence WooCommerce SiteOrigin Builder (which is still named Kadence-woo-template-builder when downloaded).
    But it won’t install. WP says it already exists !!!
    What to do???? We have about 30 templates that won’t run on the webshop right now ……
    I’m afraid of losing all templates when overwriting the plugin. Where are the templates kept?

    On other websites as well: Woo-Templates not working after Ascend update. (we use SiteOrigin and not Elementor WooCommerce which seems to have installed itself now ??). Please help fix.

    Hey,
    There isn’t an option for something like that within the theme options.

    I suggest you find a plugin that has that kind of setup or build it yourself. I’m not aware of a plugin I can recommend.

    You can force a background on the flip box widget but it will require a decent amount of custom css that you would have to manage, if you link to your image and where you have the flip box I can show you a css example.

    Hey,
    You can paste the plugin shortcode into a text widget within your home widget area in Appearance > Widgets. Just make sure the home widget area is enabled in the homepage layout manager (theme options > home layout).
    Hope that helps!

    Hi
    On a page of one of my sites, the Google map does not want to display anymore. It’s the same if I use the theme widget or insert an iframe. Do you have an idea of the problem ?

    You can paste a shortcode into any content area or text widget/block.
    You can use the carousel shortcode. Just make sure your home widget area is enabled from Theme Options > Home Layout, then add the Pinnacle Carousel Shortcode from Appearance > Widgets.
    We don’t offer design services, sorry. We could send you some references though if you would like.
