    No same thing, the listings in both those widgets are really off, the font of the product title is smaller than the price underneath, looks awful

    Also check your sidebar widget area.

    Hi JR,
    You can extend the images with this css:

    .woocommerce ul.product_list_widget li img {
        width: 100%;
    }

    Hope that helps!

    If you’re using the block editor you can add a search block into the content area of your page. Or if you’re using a page builder plugin you could add a search widget that way.

    Hi, in my sidebar, the Featured Products and Recently viewed widgets look terrible, the product featured images are distorted, like there is not enough space for them and they look all shmooshed

    See it here-

    Hey Angelo,
    You can add a search widget into any widget area. Would that work for you?

    Hey,
    You just need to remove the social widget from your footer column 1 widget area in Appearance > Widgets.
    Hope that helps!

    The one issue I’ve found is that it isn’t working on the home page. Whether I scroll down or hit the nav button at the bottom of the slider, the header that appears is already collapsed.

    That is by design. It’s supposed to already be collapsed when under a slider, there isn’t really a way to change that. If you don’t want it then you would need to remove the slider above and instead put it below your header.

    2. The icon is an SVG, it’s vector and stylable, unlike an image. If you really want to use an image then you need to get a white version (preferably much larger too so it looks good on a retina screen).

    3. I don’t suggest you shrink it further. It’s too much change other wise in my option. But that is if you are asking for my option. There are not options to shink to a specific size, You need ascend theme for that. But you can start with a smaller size or add some custom javascript.

    4. The text is in your appearance > widgets, topbar widget area.

    Hi,

    I have placed a currency converter widget in the Header Widget Area. I’m satisfied with the placement but it doesn’t seem to inherit the transparency of the header. I mean it doesn’t behave the way other elements do in the header section of my site.

    The developer has provided the following HTML for the dropdown list. Which I collected from here.

    <div class="wcaiocc-switcher-dropdown wcaiocc-container">
    <p class="wcaiocc-text">{currency switcher text}</p>
    <select class="wcaiocc-select" name="wcaiocc_change_currency_code">
    <option class="wcaiocc-option" value="{currency code}">
    {currency entry}
    </option>
    </select>
    </div>

    Could you help me style it so it doesn’t look so alienated?

    Hey Melanie,
    I moved your first widget area to the top, even above the extras that are not enabled, and it shifted left.
    Hope that’s helpful!

    Hey Minhajul,
    I haven’t heard of anyone having trouble with this plugin and I don’t foresee there being any incompatibility issues. Though definitely let us know if you have any problems!
    You could add the switcher as a widget to your header widget area.
    Hope that’s helpful!

    Hi,

    I am using Header Style no 5. Logo in the centre and the extras either side. But for some reason both my extras are on the right hand side.

    In the widgets I have the phone number and facebook link in the Header Extras Widget Area and then in the Header Extras Widget Area (second) I have the payment options however they are all showing on the right. I’ve tried moving widgets around and turning off the second widget extra area but nothing is working?

    Thanks, Mel

    Hi Ben,

    I’m planning to buy and install the WooCommerce Multi-Currency Plugin. Is it compatible with your Ascend theme?

    Can I place the Currency Switcher Widget in the header and be consistent with the Transparent Header Style that I set to my site? Please let me know.

    Hi Ben,

    The product categories widget on the shop page doesn’t load the category items when an option is selected from the dropdown menu. However, the blog post category widget with the dropdown option enabled works fine.

    Could you please look into this? Because I’m not sure whether I missed any configuration or it’s a bug.

    Thank you!

    Here you go:

    .jetpack_subscription_widget #subscribe-text, .jetpack_subscription_widget #subscribe-email {
        margin-bottom: 10px;
    }
    .jetpack_subscription_widget #subscribe-submit button, .jetpack_subscription_widget #subscribe-email input {
        width: 100%;
    }

    Hi Ben,

    Hope you’re doing great! Thanks for this great Ascend Theme! I recently joined your membership plan.

    Today I need a little help to customize my MailChimp Subscription form which I placed in the footer. I should mention I’m not using any plugin for this. This is an embedded form placed inside an HTML Widget. Here is the MailChimp code that I put in the HTML Widget. You may also find some unnecessary classes that I previously added when using Virtue Premium.

    <!-- Begin MailChimp Signup Form -->
    <div id="mc_embed_signup">
    <form id="mc-embedded-subscribe-form" class="validate" action="//minhajulhaque.us8.list-manage.com/subscribe/post?u=0dd4747ac666b424a1c48ce16&id=18b60de384" method="post" name="mc-embedded-subscribe-form" novalidate="" target="_blank">
    <div id="mc_embed_signup_scroll">

    Don't miss your discounts and our occasional announcements.

    <!--
    <div class="indicates-required"><span class="asterisk">*</span> indicates required</div>
    -->
    <div class="row">
    <div class="mc-field-group col-xs-6">

    <!--<label for="mce-FNAME">First Name <span class="asterisk">*</span></label>--><input id="mce-FNAME" class="required" name="FNAME" type="text" value="" placeholder="First Name" />

    </div>
    <div class="mc-field-group col-xs-6">

    <!--<label for="mce-LNAME">Last Name <span class="asterisk">*</span></label>--><input id="mce-LNAME" class="required" name="LNAME" type="text" value="" placeholder="Last Name" />

    </div>
    </div>
    <div class="mc-field-group">

    <!--<label for="mce-EMAIL">Email Address <span class="asterisk">*</span></label>--><input id="mce-EMAIL" class="required email" name="EMAIL" type="email" value="" placeholder="Email Address" />

    </div>
    <div id="mce-responses" class="clear"></div>
    <!-- real people should not fill this in and expect good things - do not remove this or risk form bot signups-->
    <div style="position: absolute; left: -5000px;"><input tabindex="-1" name="b_0dd4747ac666b424a1c48ce16_18b60de384" type="text" value="" /></div>
    <div class="clear"><input id="mc-embedded-subscribe" class="button kad-btn kad-btn-primary" name="subscribe" type="submit" value="Subscribe Newsletter" /></div>
    </div>
    </form></div>
    <!--End mc_embed_signup-->

    Please style this to match your Ascend theme and make the submit button “full-width”.

    Having some difficulty in getting it to look good. I can’t seem to add the “Shop Sidebar” to the “page”, which is some sort of widget. Seems to be automatic when you build it as a category, but when I try to create a page, I don’t know how to add the sidebar.

    Also the shortcodes above didn’t work as described. Here is what I had to do to display a certain category:

    [product_category columns=”4″ category=”batting-cages”]

    It took a long time to figure that out. That “category” is not really the category I have, it is product category. Also Woocommerce doc didn’t say you had to use slug names. In fact there was no example using product_category or even product_categories. It was trial and (a lot of) error before I figured it out.

    I guess I could have used [products columns=”4″ ids=”a bunch of numbers”], but that isn’t very descriptive.

    Also I have difficulty inserting an image within a paragraph. I can’t seem to control it very well as I can in PageBuilder. And the next paragraph doesn’t flush left on the next line below the image. If the image is in the paragraph and the paragraph is not very long, the next paragraph stays indented next to the image. See the screenshot I uploaded.
