    I would like to display the blog archives widget in the footer of my site. The footer has a dark grey background, so the widget is not showing up against it. Can you provide CSS that makes the widget the same color as the rest of the text in the footer? I’d also like to eliminate the hover on the month/year text, since the dropdown will bring adequate attention to the functionality of the tool.

    Thank you.

    Hi team

    Is there a way to format the text in the Virtue Split Content widget? I’m using it in SiteOrigin’s Page Builder. Would love to be able to make my titles bold and add hyperlinks to internal and external pages. Here’s my link. For instance ‘My Background’ and ‘My Work’ in bold, and hyperlinks to ‘The Moving Beyond Trauma Project’. Is this possible..? I checked everything I could think of but couldn’t find how..

    Thanks!

    I have a column with 3 rows, each with an Image Menu item. These widgets left align and I can’t figure out a way to get them to center align in the space they’re in. Do I have to do this with Custom CSS? Any help would be appreciated! The page is HERE.

    Hey,
    If using the theme product category carousel it will display at the bottom by default. Have you tried using the Ascend Carousel widget and adding it into the content area of the page using elementor?

    Good morning-

    I’m using the Ascend accordion widget towards the bottom of a page and, when expanded in Chrome (Firefox and Safari are fine), the whole page stops scrolling about halfway through the accordion contents so that it looks like the page ends there; can’t scroll down to view the footer. If I expand the browser window, I’m then able to view the whole page.

    I’d originally had Smooth Scrolling ‘On’ in the Misc Settings, but went in and turned it off. It seems that I have to adjust the browser window to fit the screen to get everything to display properly but am concerned site visitors won’t know to do this to see everything.

    Hoping my rambling makes sense; here’s a link to the specific page:

    Thanks,
    Sara

    Hey Hannah,
    Thanks so much for this.
    I think I had forgotten that we have our own set of icons. Goodness knows where the Font Awesome icon-set was getting loaded, but since the phone icon disappeared when I started deactivating plugins, I suspect the Susyptic plugin was pulling it in!

    The final html is modified slightly to work with Ben’s CSS:

    <a href="tel:1300662338"> [icon icon="kt-icon-phone" size="40px"]<span> Ph: 1300 662 338</span></a>

    A question about the CSS that Ben provided above.

    Ben set the widget text (in the <span>) to be white to begin, with then change when the menu bar went to sticky as requested in 3 and 4 above. I have applied the same solution to the phone icon using the following CSS:

    body.trans-header div:not(.is-sticky)>.headerclass-outer div:not(.is-sticky)>.kad-header-topbar-primary-outer div:not(.is-sticky)>.headerclass li.menu-widget-area-kt .custom-html-widget a, body.trans-header div:not(.is-sticky)>.headerclass-outer div:not(.is-sticky)>.kad-header-topbar-primary-outer div:not(.is-sticky)>.headerclass li.menu-widget-area-kt .custom-html-widget a i {
         color: #fff !important;
    }

    I wondered if there was a simpler solution as my solution isn’t very elegant!
    The login above is still active.
    Very many thanks,
    Phil.

    Feature suggestion:

    Social share block (I’m okay with it looking just like the widget with some formatting options like centering)

    Hey,

    initially there was the thought there would be the ability of building woo category archive pages as category grid… which is no the case sadly (a least theres was completely no way found to do so).

    Can you explain to me more what this means? You can create a template that can apply to any category. Within that template, you can add whatever you want. If you can explain what you are wanting or provide an example I would be more then happy to see if I can help.

    but where the hell is the live preview whilst editing??? theres no way to set up a preview scenario alike elementor for templates. is that true?
    none of the tests we started showed any preview in editor …!

    Which theme are you using? I am able to see the output in the editor. Which widgets are you adding?

    totally big disappointment: obviously no support for acf-fields!!! this is frankly a shame, as elementor itself does.
    they can be selected in editor but doesnt render on frontend.

    I believe the way elementor pulls in acf-feilds is through the page ID when you have inner posts it doesn’t loop though those when pulling in dynamic feilds. I can check on that. I’m not sure it’s possible to add support for the way elementor does dynamic but perhaps I can create a custom widget that would pull them in for content inside a loop by looking at the current looped item. It’s certainly a good feature request.

    and then there are quite some glitches – e.g. font settings that doesnt override the woo originals on front.

    That would mean whatever theme you are using is overriding with more specific css then the elementor output. If you can let me know where and which theme I may be able to build in support for it.

    honestly: is that worth the money at all?

    I suppose that depends on your needs and wants. We certainly offer refunds if you’re not happy. And I’m certainly willing to help with issues that you are having as it relates to your setup and theme.

    I’m also happy to look at any feature requests.

    li.menu-widget-area-kt .custom-html-widget a {
        font-family: "Source Sans Pro";
        text-transform: none;
        line-height: 24px;
        letter-spacing: .2px;
        font-weight: 600;
        font-style: normal;
        color: #444;
        font-size: 16px;
        display: flex;
        align-items: center;
        justify-content: center;
    }

    body.trans-header div:not(.is-sticky)>.headerclass-outer div:not(.is-sticky)>.kad-header-topbar-primary-outer div:not(.is-sticky)>.headerclass li.menu-widget-area-kt .custom-html-widget a {
         color: #fff;
    }

    li.menu-widget-area-kt .custom-html-widget a span {
        white-space: pre;
    }

    You can use that css.

    Hi,

    I have inserted the Virtue: Testimonial Carousel widget in my home page. I would like it to show the dots but I haven’t found the way.

    I have tried changing data-slider-dots=”true” in class-kadence-testimonial-slider-widget.php and also change all dots to true in virtue-slick.js.

    If anyone can help me it would be great.
    Thank you.

    I moved your first widget area above the search extra and it moved it to the left. Does that display as you’re wanting?

    Hello

    When I add the Pinnacle Carousel as a widget and I set it up for any of the option whether it is images or products it doesn’t seem to display in the page.

    Here is the link of the example:

    You can see at the bottom of the post that only this code appears:
    [carousel type=best-products items=6 orderby=menu_order columns=3 scroll=1 fullwidth=standard]

    Please advise on what am I doing wrong.

    Hi team,
    Could I ask for some support on the appearance of some header widget text?

    On this Dev site, I have a phone number and icon on the top right corner.
    I would like the phone icon and number to more closely mimic the menu appearance.

    1. Match the font Source Sans Pro, Semi-bold 600, 16px
    2. Correct vertical alignment so that phone number and phone icon are centrally aligned.
    3. Start off with color: white
    4. On shrink to sticky, go to color: #444
    5. Disable word-wrap for phone number for screenwidths 1040-1500px

    Very many thanks,
    Phil.

    You just don’t have the posts set up so your category widget is mostly empty.

    Anyway I added this css:

    @media (min-width: 480px){
        #containerfooter .widget_categories ul li {
            width: 50%;
            float: left;
        }
    }
    @media (min-width: 767px){
        #containerfooter .widget_categories ul li {
            width: 33.33%;
            float: left;
        }
    }
    @media (min-width: 992px){
        #containerfooter .widget_categories ul li {
            width: 25%;
            float: left;
        }
    }
    @media (min-width: 1200px) {
    #containerfooter .widget_categories ul li {
        width: 16.67%;
        float: left;
    }
    }

    #containerfooter .widget_categories ul:after {
        clear: both;
        display: table;
        content: '';
    }

    #containerfooter .widget_categories ul li a {
        border-bottom: 0;
        margin-right: 10px;
    }

    You can see with the widget I added in your footer.

    Okay, Ben, I reviewed this again…

    In order to get all the categories listed in the footer as I have shown, I will have to develop another category CSS to handle it. Correct? That’s a developer project.

    So – I have snapped a plugin called “Enhanced Category Page” and am doing the following. Each of the “categories” listed in the footer will be linked to their own page. Such as this http://www.websitename.com/category/categoryname

    Otherwise, I don’t see how we can do it without your helping to write code to develop. And I know that’s not in our membership. <cheesy grin>

    We have tried using the Category Widget in the footer, but again, it either lists (which is a long list) or usng dropdown, which is also very long and difficult to maneuver.

    Any thoughts you might have, please share?
    Thank you,
    Pam

    Hi, Ben, thank you for responding. Sorry for the delay.

    We began imputing some. On the website, the categories are listed in the footer, using Virtual Editor and columns.

    We want a visitor to be able to click on the topic they want to read and then be taken to the page listing all posts relative to that particular category.

    We tried using the List Category widget, but it just lists them in one column. Not what we are looking for.

    Hope that helps.
    Thank you,
    Pam
