Hi,
Thank you for a great theme, and good support!
I need some help with my footer.
I am using the 4 widget area layout, with a widget in each. In Column 1 and 2 I have a custom menu.
The links in the menu has a border in a dark colour – that when hovered disappears (or changes to primary colour)
* How can I remove this border? Or change the colour to the Primary Colour?I also have a few links in the footer – white font colour – but on hover they change into the primary colour – which is the same colour as the background of the footer, so they disappear on hover.
* How can I change the hover on links colour only for the footer?Border on Custom Menu links
Disappearing link on hoverThank you!
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello,
I am putting together my site with the premium virtue theme and it was going great until about an hour ago. I had a revolution slider on the homepage and after updating to wordpress 4.3 things seem to have gone a bit wonky.
I tried restoring the theme from a backup, and also updating the virtue theme both of these items did not work … any suggestions how to get the site looking like it did before the upgrades? Also, the gray footer area now does not cover the text/widget in the footer.
The link is *Login to see link
thank you.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeHi, l’d like to remove the padding between my home page enabled areas. It seems to have quite a lot of blank space. Especially between latest blog posts, home widget area and icon menu which is what l have enabled in descending order down the page.
i can’t seem to find the right code to limit this ?

Hi Ben
Here is the page, and the screen shots. I’ve had to disable pagebuilder because it seems to mess up the css and the plugin.
All I want to do is add a second sidebar.Hannah suggested I use PageBuilder. But it’s not displaying the content of the shortcode in the content area correctly.
So in a nutshell
SHORTCODE working fine in normal Virtue Premium theme.
I need to add a second right hand sidebar. I need two side widget areas.
Hannah suggested I use pagebuilder to achieve that.
I installed pagebuilder and added the editor plugin that they suggest.
I installed and activated pagebuilder, selected a text editor box.
added the short code in the text editor, not the preview as usual.
It doesn’t show the normal shortcode display.
It misses css, and leaves out the google map.I’ve never used pagebuilder before. I really jsut need to add a second right sidebar and have it be responsive.
Please advise, this should work. I tried it in CANVAS woothemes, and it works there.
And it works in Virtue, just not in pagebuilder. If you could tell me how to add a second widget sidebar on the right that would solve my problem another way.
I made screenshots, here are all the links.
This is the site as it would appear with no pagebuilder, and one sidebar.
http://findadoctor.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/VIRTUE-PREMIUM_NO_pagebuilder.pngThis is what happens when I use pagebuilder.. Map disappears, css changes, columns disappear.
http://findadoctor.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/PAGEBUILDER-PROBLEMS-VIRTUE-THEME.pngI don’t want to have to change themes. I want to use VIRTUE, but need the second sidebar.
Hopefully its a small problem.
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIts called “the Blog”
However, I don’t want a side bar, I removed all the widgets and I still get area where one would be.
Also I want to add a header image and seriously can’t find where I add this in.
Then I would like to eliminate the huge image square in the middle.
It seems that if you set a page to be the page for your blog posts it has it own css.
In forum: Virtue ThemeTopic: Design problems..
Dear Kadence theme folks,
Thank you for your great theme!
I had just upgraded to virtue premium and I am new in wordpress..
I have few questions please :1) my homepage is set with icon menu in two rows of 3 icons.
http://www.buba-shel-concert.comHow to adjust the font’s size in the icon menu box?
As you can see one of the icons don’t fit in the row.Alternatively, maybe possible to reduce the main sidebar width thus widen the icons?
2) How to cancel the animationeffects of the icons in the homepage that kind of appearing gradually and just make them steady?
3) How to edit a single sentence font size and color in a page?
I would like to edit the tel. number and the link on this page :5) and as well the ‘call for action’ in the home widget area that is partially bold would like to have the first sentence bold as well.
Thank you ,

Hey Andrew,
1. You can give your header a background in Theme Options > Advanced Styling. Then in Theme Options > Main Settings you can choose the widget logo layout (the last one). Then go to Appearance > Widgets and add a contact form to the header widget area. Do you already have a contact form you’re using? We recommend Contact Form 7 ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/ ). Then later you can reposition your contact form with css.2. You can use the revolution or kadence slider and set it to full width. If you’re setting this up for the homepage then in Theme Options > Home Slider there’s an option to move the slider above the header.

HannahIn forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Revolution Slider Not Working After Update
Another update. In my page I deleted the row with the revolution slider, created a new row, and was able to add the widget. Now the widget is set up properly on the page, but its still showing as a blank area (no slides are loading). Don’t know why the slides themselves aren’t showing. Going to try to create a new slider next and use that instead of the slider I had been using.

Hi,
Have you set featured images for each post? You can do this in the portfolio edit page. Do you also have Portfolio Full enabled in the Homepage Layout Manager (theme options > home layout)?
Portfolio posts are set up to link to themselves, not products. You can display your products on the homepage by using a shortcode like this:[recent_products per_page="40" columns="4"]You would just paste that into a visual editor and text widget and in the home widget area.
Hope that helps!Hannah
In forum: Virtue ThemeHello, Final question and my project is officially complete- We’ve some a long ways guys :).
I would like to insert a horizontal line across two widget areas. Its on row 8 of my home page. The line should go across panel 5-7-0-1 and 5-7-1-1 as a divider. Is there a special CSS for this?Tasha
In forum: Pinnacle ThemeIn reply to: Changing title and bullet color in widget
August 5, 2015 at 12:43 pm #51796This css would do it:
#panel-584-2-1-0 .widget-title, #panel-584-2-1-0 .textwidget { color: #fff; } #panel-584-2-1-0 .widget-title:after{ background:#fff; }The bullets would follow any color you set for the whole area since the editor was outputting the color style around each list item it wasn’t effecting the bullets.

In forum: Virtue ThemeJuly 31, 2015 at 1:49 am #51031Hey,
1. Add this css:#payment .methods .payment_method_paypal_pro label { display: inherit; }2. In your third widget area you have a div with a set width. You need to remove that or change it to have responsive code.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeHey guys, I’m running into a bug here and I’m hoping you can help me fix it
My featured product carousel is hidden behind the home widget area. It should be showing up after. If I put the carousel first, it shows up fine.
Here is a picture of what I’m talking about. You can a little sliver of the carousel on the right of the mail sign up page.

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Move Sidebar To Top On Mobile
July 22, 2015 at 11:24 pm #49882Hey,
You can make a custom menu for mobile. My suggestion is to add your categories to your mobile menu. They would have to click on the menu to get to your shop page and if that was a dropdown you are saving people one whole step and page load. There isn’t css to force the sidebar above your content. What you can do is use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-on-pages/
That will give you a shortcode which you can add to your shop page and it will give you an extra widget area in you appearance > widgets page.
Then you can add your category widget to the new widget area and with the shortcode on the shop page it will show at the top.
To make it only appear for mobile surround the widget in a div with the classes : “.hidden-lg” and “.hidden-md”
so like this:
<div class="hidden-lg hidden-md"> ADD SHORTCODE HERE </div>Ben

In forum: Virtue ThemeIn reply to: Adding text in footer
You can use this css to center the quote:
.col-md-6.col-sm-6.footercol1 { text-align: center; width: 100%; }You would just paste that in your custom css box in Theme Options > Advanced Settings.
There isn’t a way to make this only appear on the homepage without removing the css from all other pages with css and page id’s. You may be better off adding the quote to a visual editor widget in the home widget area. You can add the widget in Appearance > Widgets and enable this in theme options > home layout.
You can use this css to hide the footer:#containerfooter { display: none; }Hannah
