    Hey Claus,
    You can do this using the Header Widget Area. In Theme Options > Main Setting select the fourth logo layout. Then in Appearance > Widgets you can add a social links widget to your header area.
    Hope this works for you!

    Hey J,
    You cannot have your homepage both a latest post page and a static page. If you wanted you could use the home widget area (theme options > home layout) and add a layout builder widget (appearance > widgets) to add rows/columns. Or you could make your page a static page and add your posts either through the latest post in the homepage layout manager, or through a shortcode.
    In the future please start a new topic:)

    Hello,

    Re :

    Can you tell me if there is a way for me to get my ‘Site Wide Activity’ (currently listed in menu) instead in a ‘widget’ or ‘window scrolling type panel’ on the right of my main page without intruding too much on the existing format of the main home page please? There is no shortcode on my activity PAGE, it just goes to The activity stream is a function from USERPRO which works well – I’d just like to list it on the home page in a smallish area.

    I’d also like to do it with this plugin which I will buy if I am able to do it with your theme. I’d imagine that they have a short code or something for it.

    Thanks

    Hey,
    Those are in your home widget area. in the apperance > widgets page.

    You can add this css in your theme options > advanced settings:

    @media (min-width: 1200px){
    .container {
        width: 1000px;
    }
    }
    .kad-header-left {
        padding: 0;
    }

    Thank you. Can you tell me what widgets are used in the footer area of the demo. I appears to be four columns built with page builder.

    Thanks,

    Hey Jake,
    Have you tried using the header widget area? You can enable this in Theme Options > Main Settings and then add your number through an image widget in Appearance > Widgets then it should naturally fall under the header in mobile, but let me know if it doesn’t and I can help with css.

    Hi!

    I have used “home layout” to define 3 across widget spacing in the footer, but when I look at my page, with the three widgets, it looks like there is space for a 4th widget to the side of search. It looks like a blank, extra, space. (www.koreafluency.com)

    Have I somehow incorrectly defined that area as 4 spaces elsewhere?

    Thanks,
    Monica

    I would still suggest using the footer credits box in your theme options > misc settings.

    But you can also use a visual editor in your center footer widget area. That will just not be the lowest widget on mobile.

    Hey,
    Thanks for the feedback much appreciated.

    I’ll try and make this more visible.

    Just in case your unsure about any of this:

    “images-recommended sizes for theme or use the default for Woo” – we recommend the theme crop but if you want to have more control then use woocommerce settings. 1200px by 1200px for image size but that is so site specific it’s not really something you can say for everyone.

    “how to turn this on/off” – Theme options > shop settings.

    “where does the related products come from” – That is all woocommerce not theme, they come from products using the same categories and tags.

    “changing the BUY NOW button color (if possible) from theme colors” – Theme options > basic styling. Set your primary color.

    “if you put a widget in topbar then search disappears” – Yes when you turn on the topbar widget area you override the search but all you would have to do to get it back is add back a search widget into the topbar widget area.

    Just a general statement. I have been recently been working with your theme. It would be great if you had videos and/or more descriptive documentation on the functionality of the theme. It would help shorten the learning curve. It seems there is a lot of functionality and configurable items, which is great, but it’s been a trial and error process. One of the main areas is how the Virtue theme interacts with Woocommerce; images-recommended sizes for theme or use the default for Woo; how to turn this on/off; where does the related products come from; changing the BUY NOW button color (if possible) from theme colors; if you put a widget in topbar then search disappears…just to name a few.

    Just my 2¢.

    Try adding a search widget to your topbar widget area (Appearance > Widgets). Does that work for you?

    Great thanks Ben,
    Much appreciated.

    BTW: Thanks for adding the tags to the portfolio template. I noticed that and started using it. One more feature request for portfolio pages. Could we have a sidebar area available with the project details section as one widget area in the sidebar. Right now with the project details in the right and the image on the top, we end up with a long column of wasted space on tall pages that could be useful for a sidebar or at least for a widget area where we could add a tag cloud and/or other widgets.

    Like on this page.

    Hey M,
    You can do this using page builder. If your homepage is set as a static page (Settings > Reading) you can go into your home edit page, create a row using pagebuilder and set a background image/color for that row. Then add image menu widgets to that row. Just make sure Page Content is enabled in the homepage layout manager in Theme Options > Home Layout.
    Another option is to use the home widget area. This is also enabled from Theme Options > Home Layout. Then go to Appearance > Widgets and add a Layout Builder widget to the home widget area and then create a row and set a background image/color for that row. Then add image menu widgets to the row.
    Hope one of those works for you!

    1) I add feature product on home page using the widget under Appearence->Widgets (Home widget area)
    2) how can i change the font weight to be bold for the product description?

    .product_item .product_details h5 {
    font-weight: bold;
    }

    I tried the above but i doesn’t work. any idea?

    thanks.

    Hi Robin,
    You should still be able to set your page as a static page from Settings > Reading. When you go there what are you seeing on the page?
    To use the home widget area you need to enable the home widget area in the homepage layout manager (Theme Options > Home Layout) then go to Appearance > Widgets and add your text widget to the home widget area.
    Do you have the virtue/pinnacle toolkit plugin activated? If so, deactivate it. It is only needed for the free theme. That may be why your shortcode wasn’t working.

    Hey,
    1. So I’m confused. You want the title on archive pages but not on what? Maybe it would be better if you just posted a link to specific pages that you don’t’ want the title on I think that might be better for my understanding.

    2. You can use the home page widget area in your theme options > home layout to add a button anywhere on your home page.

    Thanks. The home page is set to “latest posts” as it is a blog and I want to be able to regularly post (unless I have misunderstood the difference between the two and can also have a static page with a blog?). But if I wanted to change it from Latest Posts to a static page to see, where would I go? It used to be under settings – reading, but since I upgraded to the premium, when I go there, the option doesn’t seem to be there.

    As you can tell, I’m a novice when it comes to these things, so when I tried to add to the home widget area with a text widget, it just added to a sidebar rather than directly under the main slider photo. So, what might I be doing wrong?

    For the second point, that might work but I am not sure how to do it. When I go into text, this is what I see which is over my head:

    <ul class="slides kad-light-wp-gallery">
    	<li><a href="http://robinkickmw.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/P10009021.jpg" rel="lightbox[pp_gal]"><img src="http://robinkickmw.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/P10009021-750x325.jpg" alt="" width="750" height="325" /></a></li>
    </ul>

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks so much.

    Hey,
    1. You would either need to make the home page a static page then you could use the static pages title setting or you can just add the home widget area to enabled and place a text widget with your subtitle into the text area.

    2. You can add text under the image in your page content. Using the text format you can make the text like an h5 which may be what your wanting?
