Hi Greta,
You can paste a shortcode into a text widget within your home widget area from Appearance > Widgets. Just make sure Home Widget Area is enabled in the homepage layout manager in Theme Options > Home Layout. Or if your homepage is set as a static page you can paste the code directly into your page content area.[product_category category="appliances"]
Hope that helps!Hannah

Well, widget area is used on the Blog page to search form. So it has to be I think. I need it would be as now it is, but text ZNALEZIONE NIEKRADZIONE I would like to be at the same line as menu (but on the left – below logo). Is it possible? If there are any other posibilities to do this layout – please tell me how.

I’m not sure what you mean do you not want page titles then?
Currently you have the logo set up with an widget area next to the logo then menu below if your not using the widget area you can change that to default where the logo would be next to the menu.

In forum: Virtue ThemeHi,
website nzalpaca.co.nzI have 2 questions:
is there a way to make the header of the home page (non static) looking the same as the other static pages with page title as header (in particular line spacing and the gray line above/under the homepage header). The home page is in a home widget area, with the ‘Welcome to…’ text as a H1 font formatThe home page has a nice animation for the body text to appear. How to apply the same effect to the static pages.
Thank you.

January 25, 2016 at 4:34 pm #77709When you activate a child theme you have to assign menus and re-assign widget areas. Did you do this?

January 25, 2016 at 10:40 am #776101. Add this css to the theme options > advanced settings:
.home .sliderclass, .home .contentclass { padding-bottom: 0; } footer#containerfooter { padding-top: 0; position: relative; } #containerfooter .virtue_social_widget a { background: transparent; color: black; } .footercredits { position: absolute; right: 20px; bottom: 0; padding-bottom: 0; } #containerfooter .virtue_social_widget { padding-bottom: 10px; }2. In your settings > reading. Make sure no page is selected as your “posts page” just leave that area blank. Don’t select a page.
Then in your blog page use the “blog grid” page template and save.3. Do you mean the logo tagline?
4. You can add this css:header#kad-banner { border-bottom: 1px solid #eee; } .wrap.contentclass { padding-top: 20px; } .sliderclass { margin-top: 0; }Ben

Moving the logo to the topbar isn’t a built in option. You can add a widget area in the topbar and place an image widget but that isn’t the same. moving the logo would require that you hire a developer and customize the output of te code through a child theme. You can enable a sticky header in your theme options > main settings. Sticky footer isn’t an option or recommended you can use css to force a footer to be fixed but I would need a link to your site to help with that css.
Hope that helps,
Ben

January 25, 2016 at 9:48 am #77588Last option you can turn of the header widget area by going to the theme optons > main settings. Scroll down to the logo layout and choose the option with the widget next to the logo.
Then you will have a header widget area and you can place your search in that position so it would be to the right of your logo and the menu would move below your logo.

January 25, 2016 at 9:47 am #77587Hi Ben,
I don’t actually have a Home Page set in my Pages, I only have two things enabled in my Home Layout and that’s Image Menu, then Latest Posts. I also have the Sidebar Widget as well.
Should I create a homepage and will that substitute the “Latest Post” module?
Right now, when I remove “latest post” from the Home Layout – the entire area is blank.
Thank you!

January 25, 2016 at 8:00 am #77536Hey,
If your wanting more like the custom carousel I would suggest just using the page content or home widget area then you can use pagebuilder to set up columns and add an image with text below using a visual editor widget. That would be easier and a better route then trying to make the image menu something it’s not designed for.Ben
In forum: Virtue ThemeIn forum: Virtue ThemeHi Ben,
Please kindly take a look at this link:
http://www.ckingsensors.com/ckingsupplier.I am using the call-to-action in the footer widget area (4 all together: footer 1, footer2, footer3, footer4).
I have changed the background color of each column so I can hopefully explain what I want to do.The four footer columns are in red, green, brown, and pink.
Within each of this footer column you can see the blue box with a text.
Right now, depending on long the text in those blue boxes are, the width and height of each box changes accordingly.
My question:
How do I change:1) the width
2) the height and
3) the background colorof these blue boxes so they don’t change every time I change the text within those boxes?
I am using Virtue Premium.
Thank you,

Hi Stephen,
Sorry for the delay! Unfortunately we do not currently offer live chat, but we will do our best to provide quick answers here! If you are still unhappy and would like a refund you can send your order info here- [email protected]
Your homepage doesn’t seem to be set up the way that you described. Are you just wanting one summary post on your page? If so you can use a shortcode like this:[kad_blog items=1 fullpost=false]You could paste that into a text widget (appearance > widget) within the home widget area. Just make sure you enable home widget area in theme options > home layout.
Check our documentation here- http://docs.kadencethemes.com/virtue/
