    Hey,
    So there isn’t a built in option to have both site name and logo in your header. One option is to code it into a child theme. Or, a simpler solution, you could use the header widget area and add your site name and tagline through a visual editor widget then use some css to place it accordingly. Let me know if you need further help with either of these routes.

    1. Try changing this:

    @media (min-width: 400px) {
    .home .tcol-md-25.tcol-sm-3.tcol-xs-4.tcol-ss-6.all.cat-b.p-item {
        width: 40%;
    }
    .home .kad_portfolio_fade_in {
    float: right;
    }
    }

    To this:

    @media (min-width: 400px) {
    .home .tcol-md-25.tcol-sm-3.tcol-xs-4.tcol-ss-6.all.cat-b.p-item {
        width: 47%;
    }
    .home .kad_portfolio_fade_in {
    float: right;
    }
    }

    2.Try adding this css:

    .homepromo .kad-animation {
        padding: 0;
    }
    .home-iconmenu .home-icon-item, .home-iconmenu a {
        margin: 10px;
    }

    To add a title you can could use the home widget area and just add a h1 tag to a visual editor widget.
    Hope that helps!

    Hey Carrie,
    Looks like you still have a revolution slider widget in your home widget area. Either remove this from the widget area (Appearance > Widgets) or disable Home Widget Area from the homepage layout manager in Theme Options > Home Layout.
    Hope that helps!

    Hi Guys
    After adding a mobile slider to my site, I’m seeing an extra slider area at the bottom of my home page
    carriecoren.com

    I deleted the slider it was referencing, but it looks like there’s a widget in that spot; (and there’s no widget for that on my home page.)

    Thank so much-
    Carrie

    Contain is what you have and it’s why you have words of the image. You need to set to cover. since you want the image to “cover” the area with your widgets not try and show the entire image inside of the container. See here: https://www.kadencewp.com/background-image-sizing/

    Cover is default so remove your contain css.

    Hey,
    Widgets are saved in widget areas based on the theme. so a child theme and a parent theme could have different widgets set up. If you set up which widgets are supposed to show in your footer using the parent theme but then changed to a child theme you would need to reassign those widgets to the widget areas. This is how wordpress deals with saving widgets.

    Is that your issue?

    really sorry about the confusion, i have used social icons by installing plugin Social media widget by Author: Noah Kagan and after so much of attempts manage to get it in the middle of the image and the menu.
    actually the logo you see in the website is not uploaded as a logo i have removed the logo( as blank ) and uploaded the logo image as a Visual editor widget in the Header widget area.( because i have selected the Logo Layout 4th option where you can use the logo and the widget at the right corner of the page) so all because when i choose the 4th option it doesn’t allow me to center the logo.
    but as u can see there is a little bit big gap between the menu and the logo so is their any particular css code where i can reduce the gap( i have reduce all the margins to 0 but still there is a gap)
    thank you for your support so far sorry it was quite complicated you know my client is so specific, sorry about all the trouble.

    You should be able to ad the desired widget to any position in the page builder that you like. Where on the page were you trying to get them to appear? Just above the footer area?

    Hi,

    I am currenlty using the icon menu at the bottom of the page http://www.skyakadventures.com but want to move it into the content area of the page, so need to remove it from the theme homepage settings, and add it as a row on the homepage using the site origin page builder. When I have done this the styling is different. Can you tell me how to use the css of the icon menu in the theme settings but within the page builder?

    Many thanks

    Hey Adam,
    You could use a shortcode that selects specific product categories. Like this: [product_category category="books" per_page="8" columns="4"]
    You could paste that into a visual editor widget within the home widget area (appearance > widgets). Make sure you enable Home Widget Area in Theme Options > Home Layout.
    Hope that helps!

    A very easy way to get social links to display in those areas is to use the “Pinnacle: Social Links” widget. Be sure that you have the topbar widget area enabled through your theme options, and by default the footer contains widget areas to place the Social Links. Give that a try and let me know how it works for you.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Ben,
    I love the product category filter that is available in the shop and category pages above the product pictures. Buttons that you can click and filter items by category with no page reload is great!

    My question – is there a way I can use that same functionality but with the buttons listed in a single column on top of each other running down the right side of the shop in the primary widget area? That should still look clean as hell but not push the products down the page so much if there are a lot of category filter buttons as it does now with the buttons up top. Any help to accomplish this would be awesome.

    I am searching now for my comments but at first glance it threw the few widgets from the various sidebars into the “inactive” area but they work when moved back to their respective locations. After going through comments if I cannot solve I’ll reach out. I’m learning so I’ll always take a crack at it – thank you for the above direction. In the meantime I deleted the lib folder, reinstalled, and reactivated. All is fine again.

    Thanks Ben –

    Hi Ben,

    I tried to add a phone number in topbar menu by turning on “Topbar Layout Switch” and enabling widget area in right of Topbar.

    I added a widget and with phon number but my topbar menu (Home and About Us) were moved too far right and they were out of boxed layout (I am using Boxed Layout Style : ckingsensors.com).

    So, I decided to use Custom Links under menu and it looks like this: http://www.ckingsensors.com

    How do I keep the number on the left and shift the rest of the topbar menu to the right (not completely right, just far enough that the phone number further away from the rest of the topbar menu items.

    Thank you,
    Jay

    Thanks for your patience… this doesn’t work for my site. The photos we are using in the header area for each page require the 300 px height; changing this to 80 px makes them too narrow. I also tried removing the logo widget from the topbar and adding the 80 px logo via the “logo options” section, but what I get is a logo that only appears on scrolling and then in a lower position on the page. It does not look anything like the example from the Pinnacle site you gave.

    I’ve reset everything to my original settings. I think I’ll just have to add a top image to the page in question rather than trying to remove the white space.

    Sorry, I don’t understand your comment. There is no logo in the header or logo area; I cannot find anywhere indicated that I have set a logo height there. We have a small logo inside a widget in the topbar, and that is where we want it. Our header on most pages is a large photo, and the logo does not work in front of a photo.

    This tutorial video on your support page indicates that the header can be removed on individual pages by setting the page specs to “hide page title.”

    https://www.kadencewp.com/page-header-pinnacle-premium/

    I have tried this but it does not work for me; perhaps it doesn’t work for what I’m trying to do? I want to remove the blank white space at the top of the content, as since we have a slider with photos we don’t need one at the top.

    Hey,
    You can add a language link into the menu. For example in your mobile of one language add a link to the home page of another language.

    You can always add a widget to your footer area.

    Adding a widget into the header below the logo would require editing files, adding an extra widget area into the header and I really don’t suggest that. You don’t want the mobile header to take that much space and if you already have the language set to auto detect you don’t need to have the option to switch so upfront and center.

    Hello Kadence folks

    Hate to bother, but I’ve got a bit of an issue here that i haven’t been able to figure out yet. Hopefully it’s just something i’m overlooking

    For some strange reason, pictures from my gallery do not show up at all using the Pinnacle Gallery widget, regardless of what area of the site i assign the widget to.

    Strange thing is, the title for the pinnacle gallery widget does show up in the assigned area. So it seems as the widget is writing to the page correctly, but it simply cannot see the gallery.

    Furthermore, the Pinnacle Carousel and Pinnacle Post Grid both work as intended by displaying images from those pages into the widget area, giving me further reason to believe the issue is related to my gallery and how the widget sees it

    I cleared the cache several times and deactivated all plugins, but that did not help. Also switched the gallery to use standard format (my gallery was originally using masonry). The gallery images still did not appear in the widget.

    Is there something i’m supposed to do to make the widget see my gallery, or is this some sort of bug?
    I’d rather not use a 3rd party gallery widget due to fears it might compromise the site’s functionality, but I’d be more than happy to use one you’d recommend.

    Unfortunately, the issue is a bit sensitive, so i hope i can hear back soon. I’d appreciate any assistance.
