Add borders to an image

Hi Kadence Theme,
I want to build an image gallery with pagebuilder.
I want to add a border ( let’s say 1 px grey ) around the thumbnail image.
It should be the same style as in the wordpress gallery in the free theme

Only the thumbnail images should have borders, the large images should have no borders.
How can I do that in the Premium Version?
Which settings must I have, or: is this only possible with a special shortcode?
