Add Video to WP GAllery

I am trying to change the images in the preloaded theme content of wordpress gallery to video.
I tried to follow the instructions for creating a wp gallery but it only applies to images not video.
I can only see a way to possibly edit the images when I use the visual editor
However, it doesn’t allow me to change the images to video.
Where are the images housed so that I can switch them out for video?
