adding SEO keyword to image alt attributes

Hello!
I just want to find out if there is a way to add keyword in image alt attributes after the image was uploaded. This is possible using Virtue: Image as there is a box to enter: Image Alt Text (optional). I do not see option using Virtue: image menu item widget.
Do I have to re-upload image?
