Additional colors?

I really like the color system that Kadence uses, but it’s mostly designed for a simple brand color palette only.
Now I need 6-10 (at least) extra, complementary colors to make the site more vibrant, but there ain’t no extra slots for them. What would be the most secure and easiest way to add more colors? Plugins? I really don’t want the site colors to explode whenever I update the Kadence theme. 😄
