Adjust grid size of Featured Product carousel?

Hi Ben,
Is there a way to adjust the size of images and spacing of the Featured Product carousel? I would like to limit the carousel to (3) images for a cleaner look, but doing so enlarges the images and the overall carousel. Perhaps having the images to be approx. the same size as when set to (4) images, and with more white/blank space between the images?
