Ascend drop-down mobile menu

Hi
I enjoy using the Ascend theme but would love the option to display the mobile menu as a drop-down (similar to Pinnacle’s) in addition to the current sliding in from the side style. Is there some css or javascript that I could use to achieve this? If not, I would like to make a feature request for there to be the option in your Theme Options to choose either a slide in from side or drop-down mobile menu – would be fantastic if this could be implemented.
