This seems odd to me, I’ve worked on hundreds of themes and when we update:
User Profile
– Website = URL (author page)
This is used in the Author Byline on single pages.
/author/jen/ > current, weak best practice
– meh
/about-jen/ > (page), strong best practice
– author schema
– expertise, authority, trust
– etc
