Backend Of Site Slow When using Virtue theme

I have observed and tried different things to arrive at the conclusion that whenever I activate “Virtue” premium theme the backend of my site immediately becomes slow. I am on a shared hosting and that maybe a factor, however, the frontend loads faster so I cannot put the blame on my hosting. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Ben, is there a a solution to this backend slowness?
