Base Template

Hi,
I know this has been covered a few times and I have it working, but I was wondering if there was a better way to do this with your theme base templates. Right now I’m creating custom xml feeds from scratch + base template. To be specific I have 3 xml base/template feeds inside the child theme.
base-xmleventfeed.php => xmleventfeed.php
base-xmlpersonalityfeed.php => xmlpersonalityfeed.php
base-xmlsponsorfeed.php => xmlsponsorfeed.php
Is there a way to just make 1 base template to be used on any of the xml feeds? So basically would be the following
base-xmlfeed.php => event.php
base-xmlfeed.php => personality.php
base-xmlfeed.php => sponsor.php
