Blog Posts on Home Layout – Featured Images Too Large AND Not Cropped Equally

I am using the Virtue Premium theme on this site: *Login to see link
I am using the Home Layout with Featured Blog posts.
As you can see at the page above, the two featured images are not cropped to be an equal height so that they line up.
Also, I would like the featured images to each be smaller overall…perhaps 60% of their current size.
Is there any way to fix these two issues?
