Can't activate pinnacle premium child theme

Hello,

Thanks to your great tool tip editing your standard pinnacle child theme, I was able to create an individual child theme. However when I click on Live Review, this error message appears.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare pinnacle_shortcode_init() (previously declared in /homepages/27/d600689778/htdocs/clickandbuilds/WordPress/MyCMS4/wp-content/themes/pinnacle_premium-child/functions.php:90) in /homepages/27/d600689778/htdocs/clickandbuilds/WordPress/MyCMS4/wp-content/themes/pinnacle_premium/functions.php on line 91

I currently have these files under my child theme:

framework.php
functions.php
pinnacle.css
pinnacle_extension.php
screenshot.png
style.css
theme_options.php

1) Do I need all these files – I only adapted style.css
2) Do I even need to activate that child theme although all my settings are all under the standard pinnacle_premium theme? E.g. I adapted de_DE.po and .mo (trying to solve another issue with language)
